On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of Inmans Primary School, I am thrilled to welcome you to our school. In addition, each child is encouraged to build their self-confidence, to develop self-reliance, to take risks without fear of failure, and to make informed decisions about their own learning. We are extremely proud of our school and the achievements of our pupils. Inmans Primary has a strong reputation for academic, artistic and sporting success.
Currently, staff are working hard on a curriculum review to ensure that our curriculum gives Inmans Primary School a distinct identity and ethos, reflecting our values, our place within the local community of Hedon and the East Riding of Yorkshire, and an awareness of the wider world in which we live.

Services
There is a legal requirement that all children attend school or receive suitable education once they reach the age of five years. At Inmans Primary School we have early admissions. Children start in Reception at the beginning of the school year in which they become five. It is possible for parents/carers to arrange to delay their child's entry to school.
Inmans Primary School is an amazing place to work and a fantastic environment for learning. The close partnership between staff, students & their families ensures that together there is no limit to what our pupils can achieve. Inmans Primary School has a dedicated and dynamic Governing Body who oversee the strategic direction for the school.
If your child has an allergy or medical condition of any description, you must tell us. Please do not presume we know. It is important that you inform the school office if your child has any serious medical conditions or allergies giving as much information as possible. It is also important that you keep us updated on changes so that we can keep out records up to date.
We hope in this way you will be able to support our efforts to have consistent uniform throughout the school. This will help us to eradicate differences which can lead to peer pressure such as fashion items and designer labels. We strongly recommend that children do not wear any jewellery to school.
Universal Free School Meals - All pupils in EYFS, Y1 and Y2 are entitled to a free school meal daily. Pupil Premium - In addition to the Universal Free School Meals, your child may be entitled to a free school meal through the pupil premium grant. Free school meals are available to children of families who are in receipt of certain benefits.
