It is an honour to be the Headteacher of Pearson Primary School, serving our vibrant, diverse and multicultural society, made up of families from upwards of 30 countries. Pearson Primary is a very special school in the heart of our city.

Services
HCAT is a Teaching Academy and an Accredited Sponsor, we work with a number of partners to provide the highest quality education for all children within our schools and children in schools we support. The focus of HCAT is our children and we strive to ensure that every child within the Trust receives outstanding teaching and learning opportunities through collaboration and school improvement.
At Pearson Primary School our staff go above and beyond to provide the best possible education for the children that we serve. At HCAT our moto is 'children first' and we place the children's best interests at the heart of every decision that we make. Everyone who works at Pearson, whatever their job, is here to contribute to an excellent education for our children.
School stakeholder groups are committees established by the Trustees to provide oversight, support and challenge in relation to defined aspects of the work of schools. School stakeholder groups are committees of the Board of Trustees and have responsibilities delegated to them by Trustees. Primarily to ensure HCAT policies and procedures are in place and are being implemented in their schools.
Restorative Practice enables the building, maintaining and repairing of relationships. The philosophy embodies a set of values and principles and a way of working with people that provides a common language and approach and enables the practice to be taught. Restorative Practice is underpinned by values of empathy, respect, honesty, acceptance, responsibility, and mutual accountability.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. At Pearson Primary School Mrs C Neale is our Safeguarding Lead and responsible for Child Protection.
