Went here tonight for our 3rd wedding anniversary meal... the food was absolutely stunning I had the whistler chicken which was cooked to perfection and tastes absolutely divine 😋 my wife had the slow cooked pork belly which again was cooked to perfection and just melted in the mouth, this was followed a sticky toffee pudding and bailey cheesecake… which again was amazing and did not disappoint I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The staff were friendly, professional and inviting and made you feel at ease the service was quick and to a high standard...

First vist here. Came here on recommendation and very glad we did. Full of character and VERY clean. The menu had the usual things but also had some really good speciality dishes. We had whole plaice from Brixham. Came from just up the road and you could taste the freshness of it. Was really well cooked . Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. we'll certainly return!!!

Visiting the area we went here by recommendation for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. The seafood chowder is not to be missed if you like fish that is. The gammon is delicious. Give it a visit if you are in the area but book ahead as they get busy.

Lovely staff, best food we have eaten in years, couldn't fault a thing.
We had beef stroganoff, lamb rump, scallops and pork belly.
Just wish we were local and not on holiday. Highly recommend.

Had a very disappointing burger. I was expecting a homemade burger only to be presented with run of the mill mass produced patty.
A brioche bun does not make a gourmet burger.
Not a memorable meal.

We love The Pig & Whistle. Normally go on our own but visiting family loved it too. Fabulous freshly cooked food and very friendly staff. Your only problem will be will you have enough room for a starter, main course and a dessert. Would recommend a pre dinner cocktail too. Will be returning soon.

The food was great, I couldn't fault it and would highly recommend the Pig and Whistle. The service was great when we first arrived but got slower as the pub got busier but this was because there was only 3 members of staff for the whole restaurant taking orders and delivering the food from the kitchen to your table and one dedicated person behind the bar making your drinks so just be patient with them. I think that their still operating a table service. Overall I think the staff there did an awesome job and were incredibly polite and professional. Thanks again for quality pub food in a warm and

Visited last week after visiting Woodlands and had a really great meal, so much so we visited again after a day in Dartmouth and again the food was fantastic. I had fish both times which was absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and made sure our daughter had a great experience too, would highly recommend.
