Arrived at the hotel and no one on reception...had to phone him and he turned up 35 minutes later with not as much as an apology...then he told me that we couldn't check in even though we had booked an early 12pm check in...this was now after 4pm because the room still wasn't "ready".
He charged me £140 for a night's stay even though the website stated £59 per night.
Eventually checked in later that evening and i could've cried because the room was so dirty and dated ...couldn't complain to anyone or ask for another room as again no one was on reception that evening or in the morning when we

My stay was from 3am until 10am so not as long as others. What I can say is the receptionist I spoke to about booking and before the trip was fantastic , really helpful friendly and couldn't do enough to help make sure our stay was flawless. So a massive thankyou to her , apologies I never got her name but you were great. The next morning my breakfast was Nice, bacon was cooked perfectly and plenty of juices to juice from. The older lady was pleasant at breakfast, there was a guy behind a wall I couldn't see who was very abrupt when "asking" the lady did I want tea/coffee. This is my only complaint

We were 1hr away from hotel only to receive a call from the hotel that they are fully booked and our booking made 2weeks prior could not be accepted 😤😤 The hotel claimed that they only received the booking today!!!! Really after the money had been taken from my account already!!! There were no alternatives offered and everywhere is sold out!! No option but to drive back 200miles!!!
This is unacceptable, unprofessional, unreliable, poor customer service. Would l recommend this hotel NO!!!

We stayed on the top floor, which was really tiring to get to as the lift was out of order. The room was really small, but we managed. The service from the staff though, was brilliant. It was really busy and they had a lot customers to deal with, but they were always polite and tried to help people. The fry up in the morning was nice too. And you're staying on the PROM!

I can't comment on the quality of our stay as we only got as far as the reception desk. On arrival we were told that there was no record of our booking and that room 3 (the room I'd booked) had a guest in. The manager explained that the guest was only booked in for the one night but that he had failed to check out. I suggested that they remove the guest's items from the room and honour their booking but the manager refused. I later met the guest in room 3 and he said that this was a lie and that he'd been double booked too and was there for the week! The manager was very unhelpful and suggested
