We are an established childcare organisation based in the South West with day nurseries in Bristol, Yeovil, Taunton, Paignton, Torquay and Plymouth. Our first day nursery opened in Brislington, Bristol, in 2004 and our nursery group has grown on our reputation of outstanding and affordable childcare available to all families.
We're passionate about providing babies, toddlers and preschool children with the best start in their early education and work diligently to ensure that this results in safe and happy children in our care. After securing a job my children did their first full day at nursery yesterday since January. I expected to pick up tired, sulky babies but instead was greeted with the biggest grins, it makes such a difference to your day to know your children are so happy and well looked after. The staff at Midvale Road are definitely more like extended family and friends than hired help, I couldn't do it without their support.

Our little girl has been going to mama bears in springhill gardens since she was 10 months old.
She has enjoyed every room she has been in from the baby room through to preschool 2, her development came on quickly and has never stopped.
Each room is packed with toys and games for the development of that age group. The practitioners are very… engaging and always fill you in with the days activities. The garden and amount of time spent outside is really good, with lots of equipment and activities to keep little brains alert and focused.
All of the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful

Amazing support from Joanna and the team at Barewell Road during the pandemic. We live opposite and Joanna has printed off learning for for my little boy without hesitation and providing constant email updates about help and support. My little boy will be leaving this year but my looking forward to my new addition be able to join next year.

My Daughter attends Mama Bears on Midvale Road and I cannot recommend them enough! The girls are so lovely and friendly and so professional and it’s clear that they really do love and care about all of the children. My daughter adores them and they are absolutely brilliant with her. I was so worried about leaving her with people she didn’t know but with the girls at Midvale Road looking after her, I am completely at ease and I know that she is in the best hands. The best nursery I could have chosen by far! x
