Not been here for ages and I can't think why.
We had a table for four at the Jolly Holly Christmas Dinner and Dance. Excellent quality food served hot and quickly. The Disco Dance Floor was full from the moment the music started. Friendly atmosphere.
We stayed the night in a lovely room. It was a bit on the small side but more than adequate.
Morning breakfast was included and, again, the quality of the food and service was excellent.
We'll come back soon.

Works xmas party, venue is nice and staff were lovely. But bar service was very slow, food was ok but nothing special and bar prices seemed to be made up depending who served us. Enjoyed the music and casino night

Definitely not a 4*. Food was very average, a lot of "straight out of a packet" I suspect. We had a 3 course as part of a work event. Wine was horrible. Public areas are pleasant but well worn, nice logburner. The conference room was freezing, tatty and the buffet was disappointing (chips and a small selection of sandwiches) as was the supply of hot drinks. Breakfast was a dismal experience, scrambled egg from powder, tinned mushrooms and soggy bacon. My colleague described the sausage as utterly flavourless. Very small self service selection too. Room was clean, very worn - damaged lampshades

Really nice small boutique hotel. At the right price (we paid 150 a night full board ) was solid value. Great spa, lovely team and bar and surprisingly decent food... our room was a little outdated but clean, nice coffee and lovely elemis goodies. 😍😍

I highly recommend this place. It's not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for. Absolutely spotless and all the service is second to none, from the reception staff right through to the spa staff. Food all spot-on and the rooms are lovely. The location is perfectly situated in the countryside of the cotswolds but a stones throw from Cheltenham one way and Gloucester the other. Will definitely go back.

A real mix of good and bad. The room while small was nice but dated, The bed was comfortable but the room was hot. We couldn't leave the window open as during the day you could hear the maid's/cleaners arguing just outside (laundry room right next to the window). Then at 11.30pm they turned the washer/drying machine on which ran for hours and you can still hear and feel it with the window closed. The Spa was very nice but had a lot of children in even though we had booked times that should of been adults only. Once the children had gone it was a peaceful and relaxing place to be. A few of the Spa

Needs to have their rooms massively updated. Was very disappointed with the ambience of our room, felt like I walked into 1915. It just gives it the feel that a lack of care or development has been taken over the years (bearing in mind I stayed here nearly 30 years ago and it look no different.).
Their restaurant is decent and so is the spa.

All in all, a great spa break, especially if you need respite from the hustle & bustle of life. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the evening meals. Make sure you double check your rooms. We asked for a twin and got a double, as the break was booked via spaseekers, however, the new manager was attentive and worked to address this. Rooms could do with a revamp to spruce up the tired decor. In summary, I would recommend this place.

Had a very pleasant one night stay here with family. Had dinner and breakfast. Dinner was filling and delicious, breakfast was a bit less filling, had to ask for more food. Overall the area is nice (Cotswolds) that's why we chose to stay here. Would definitely be back (loved the armchair on the corridor).
