Knockomie Hotel
Knockomie sits comfortably in it's surroundings, with 15 rooms and a gastro dining experience. The Inn has developed over the last 30 years under the guidance of Gavin and Penny Ellis, allowing the experience to develop and change with the seasons. Having created a new direction, Knockomie is proud to offer genuine hospitality, in an unstuffy manner, yet focus on the traditions of an innkeeper.

You must feel welcome, the food must be wholesome and reflect the local produce on offer from local supplier, and you must leave wanting to return. Our Bar offers real ales and an impressive selection of Malt Whisky, because this is Speyside! You can enjoy this in cosy surroundings or outside in the garden.

The fine dining menu. we had our wedding reception there 30yrs ago and just recently returned for our 30yr anniversary fine dining meal. what we got wouldn't have fed a sparrow, we also got frozen chips and not home cooked plus the steak had grizzel through it we could have prepared a better meal ourselves. Even thought they were told it was a 30yrs anniversary there was no free glass of wine or champagne. we were most displeased or what we got ! and it cost £90.00

Just spend two nights at the Knockomie and cannot recommend it enough, this was our second time here and wont be out last. The Inn itself is beautiful and the building is very quaint with a beautiful bar and… sitting area. The sitting area has games etc for everyone to use. The food is out of this world. What makes the Knockomie is the staff , they are so lovely and attentive and go out of their way to help. The owners are a lovely couple and should be proud of the fantastic enviroment at the Knockomie.

Gorgeous hotel! Me and my girlfriend has the pleasure of staying at the Knockomie Hotel for a romantic getaway the other weekend. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. We were made to feel very welcome our whole stay, thanks to all the lovely staff. The food we had,
and by the looks of it the entire menu, was mouth-watering, next to none that I have ever experience in a hotel before. I could not recommend this lovely hotel more!

Just back from a most enjoyable couple of days at Knockomie - excellent food in most comfortable surroundings and all delivered in a very safe COVID way - a very friendly welcome to us and our dog. Forres is a great centre for touring with much to see and do in the area.

We couldn’t have asked for a better night stay. We truly felt spoilt from the moment we received a warm welcome to being waved off down the road. The staff were so accommodating and always looking for ways to make us have the best experience. Our stay felt so personalised as though every member of their team were looking after only us. The room was beautiful and so spacious, overlooking a gorgeous garden which had the sun all evening. The food was brilliant, and they had a great bar including everything from whiskies to cocktails, wines to beers. A very comfortable night stay and a delicious

Charming manor house in the Arts and Crafts style with luxurious furnishings and an excellent restaurant, well located for Forres, Elgin, the whiskey trail, and the coast.

Treat young families horrible after providing a dirty bath and after the family complaining about the bath throwing them out the next day because of that 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not very friendly service you would expect from a hotel. Especially with a young child involved. I wouldn’t step into the place

Liked this place a lot. Food was great: really hit the mark. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Room was comfortable and spacious however a little sprucing up wouldn't hurt it. Would go back where again without hesitation.

This is a really nice medium sized wedding venue/restaurant/bar/hotel just south of Forres, about a 30 minute walk from the town centre (I know because I walked it on Sunday morning). The staff are very friendly, food is good, and the beer and whisky selection is good too. The only negative is the price, with a bottle of local beer at £5.15 and a half pint of ale £2.50.

My husband and I were recently married at The Knockomie
Hotel, and the whole day was absolutely wonderful. The staff were fantastic
from start to finish, very accommodating of any changes we had to make, and the
ceremony and reception went perfectly. Johnnie and Yassmin especially were so
helpful and informative, and we really
felt special on our big day. All the staff at The Knockomie made our wedding
day a fantastic experience for us and for our guests, who all had a wonderful
time. Impeccable service, fabulous food, attention to detail and perfect
planning made for an experience we would highly

Spent a night there last week for a Casino night evening. Great food, excellent service! Unfortunately lost all my money at the Black Jack table :( Will recommend it to others for a romantic, luxury break.

It is a gorgeous hotel and has lovely well kept grounds. The dining room, bar, reception and function suite are all very nicely furnished in keeping with the building.

The bedrooms are all very different, some thing for everyones taste. It goes from very modern chic designs to 4 posters beds with drapes.

The food is great and there is a large selection of whiskies in the library bar.

The staff are very friendly and helpful when it comes to organising functions.
