The Robin Montessori Nursery aims to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where the children feel happy, safe and grow through creative and stimulating activities following the Montessori approach and in conjunction with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Promoting creativity, self-confidence, academic excellence and independence, children will leave well prepared for their next stage of educational journey.
At The Robin Montessori we support the vertical grouping. This approach provides the older children with an opportunity to guide the younger ones as well as helping them to develop social interactions and emotional well-being. Services
The Robin Montessori was founded by Elisa and Agnese. They share the same values in creating an environment where the children flourish by becoming active learners, develop a love of work, concentration, self-discipline and sociability. By valuing each child as an individual, they believe we empower them to become confident and independent learners.
Maria Montessori discovered that every child has a spontaneous urge to learn and this discovery led her to develop the prepared environment. Within the prepared environment, the child must experience freedom of movement, freedom of exploration, freedom to interact socially, and freedom from interference from others.
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world with 420 million people speaking it. It is never too soon to start children learning another language and at The Robin Montessori we introduce the Spanish language through a variety of activities, books, games and songs. Yoga at a very early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that is non-competitive.
A full term's notice must be given in writing before your child leaves the nursery, otherwise a full term's fees will be charged. Please note that we work on a minimum of three mornings a week for 2 years old and 5 mornings for 3 years old. All the children have a snack of fruit or vegetables in the morning which is provided by the parents.

Our son is settling in well here with the support of his wonderful teachers. We get lovely photo and video updates of his progress and what he's learning. We have noticed a difference in him, he has grown in confidence and independence, his vocab has also grown and he has made lovely new friends, as have we. We are very happy to recommend the Robin.

I did a Spanish trial lesson at The Robin Montessori and was very impressed- Elisa and Agnese are both very welcoming and offer a very nurturing and caring environment for the children.
Everything is at the children's level which is typical of being a Montessori. My 2.5 daughter Mia came as well and she loved playing with the sand and the utensils!
If we lived closer I would definitely sign Mia up!
