Services
When you're away on business it's great to know that you have a place to stay where staff greet you with genuine warmth; where service is an attitude not part of a corporate process; and where a willingness to break from the norm means you can feel at home for however long you stay. The Grasmere Court is a family-owned hotel, where long-serving staff combine high standards with friendly service.
After a full day seeing the sights and soaking up the atmosphere of these vibrant and historic cities, our friendly, comfortable hotel provides the perfect place to put your feet up and take it easy. Bath is one of the World's most popular tourist destinations - and for good reason. It is a small city which can be explored easily on foot, all centred around the famous Roman Baths and Spa.
Whether you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, looking for an intimate location for a small wedding party or coming together for a more sombre occasion, you can be sure that our chef and the rest of the staff will go out of their way to help everyone make the most of the day.

For birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations, we offer a traditional dining experience, with attentive service and delicious dishes, prepared with locally-sourced ingredients. We are happy to take advance bookings for our main restaurant or can offer private dining rooms and tailored menus for larger groups.
Whether you are organising a formal seminar, training workshops or a one-off meeting, we can offer the exact package of services that you need to make it a success. In addition to public spaces, open to business visitors for ad-hoc meetings, we have several meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 100 people.
When you order from our menu - be it a full English breakfast, a traditional Sunday lunch or delicious evening meal - you can rest assured that it was created from fresh ingredients, purchased from local producers and suppliers. For many years we have maintained excellent relationships with local suppliers, who provide all the meat and fish as well as fresh fruit and vegetables for our kitchens.

I stayed at the hotel in January and there was a couple of frosty mornings, but the hotel was nice and warm. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was made from good quality ingredients. The food in the evening was just as good. The staff were friendly and all areas of the hotel were nice and clean. Overall a very pleasant stay thank you.

5 stars for friendliness of staff, who really went out of their way to oblige. Restaurant/bar in the hotel, which is handy and the location is great for country walks in the Chew Valley and for Keynsham Park. Good selection of teas, including herbal. Very clean. Only slight thing was, as somebody else mentioned, breakfast is a staff were so pushed at times, it was a job sometimes to catch them to ask for more butter, etc, because they were darting backwards and forwards. Overall, very good and would definitely stay again.

Just had a weekend (19th 20th Nov) at the hotel nice clean place stayed in room 12 clean and looked after nice comfy bed and covers, the shower was bit of a pain as the shower hose was in the way when washing , went for breakfast nice English breakfast but the only let down was we had to keep asking for the toast butter and sauces etc
Small car park busy if people are dinning in the restaurant.
I would stay again

Very limited menu. Menu not to the taste of older diners. Food was good, service slow. Waiter taking order had very little knowledge of the food on menu. Will not visit for lunch again.

Would give the place a 3.5 but rounded up. Its in a good location a short drive to Bristol or Bath. Upon arrival was greeted by a welcoming and pleasant member of staff, a theme that continued. The room we stayed in was just the right size, double bed, desk with mirror, hanging rail and a small TV. Each room has an ensuite, only problem here was the shower was small, but I am a bigger guy, and water pressure seemed low. We had a table booked for the night in the restaurant for four, which did not disappoint. We ordered Ribeye Steak, Chuck Burger, Katsu Bao buns and chilli burger. Every meal was

This is a great place to eat.. The food is always superb with a good choice from the menu and changing specials. Has a good range of beers, wines and spirits.
We love coming here and always feel relaxed with friendly staff, good service and good atmosphere. Could recommend from the menu but would be hard to choose although Sunday lunch is always a winner. Oh and last nights porterhouse steak was spot on. Look forward to seeing you again soon..
