Stayed for 2 nights with a couple of friends.
I chose it as a small independent, rather than go to an obvious chain.
Excellent service from the start. However, a bit of a skeleton staff, so some times a bit impractical. We were OK, but as we left another guest was struggling to make contact with the staff.
Rooms were small but did the job. Nice clean linen, but decor a little tired.
I would stay again as for the price it was fair. But could do with a bit of an upgrade in places to make it feel a bit more special.
I'm not sure I'd come for a romantic break. But for me on my own it was fine

Last minute booking on a short notice visit to Bristol. Hotel located overlooking a pretty green and for what we paid good value for money. Room was clean, bed comfy and breakfast included in price. Another bonus was parking available at £6 for 24 hours which was certainly a premium as on street parking quite costly. Hotel close to Bristol Zoo and Clifton Suspension Bridge, both of which we visited, and public transport into city centre outside the front door. Would definitely visit again though may opt for a larger room.

The hotel was nice and well decorated, in a prime location! Was easy to check in, and the rooms were good for a short stay. The only downside to the stay was that the phone, shower and by the end of the stay- flush and taps broke, and we didn't receive any reply as to what to do about it. Was no biggie as it was a short stay, however hopefully they get fixed for the next visitors. Lovely stay though
