Little Ripley Day Nurseries is a family-run business which was first established in 1988 and now consists of a group of fourteen nurseries in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Great Barr and Kingstanding areas. Each nursery has a team of experienced and qualified staff, most of whom have been with us for many years, therefore providing continuity of care.
Our aim at Little Ripley is to provide a happy, safe and caring environment, in which the children are relaxed and can enjoy. With children, we all need to maintain a sense of humour and a balanced flexibility. The Early Years Curriculum is incorporated into all of our games and activities, so the children learn, without feeling under pressure.

Services
At Little Ripley Day Nurseries our team have an excellent knowledge of how children learn through play and based on observations we aim to plan exciting activities, which help children to reach their full potential. We aim to provide a high quality of teaching and all our staff take every opportunity to build on the children's learning.
Here at Little Ripley Day Nursery our key focus is your child's development. Our aim is to enable your child to not only reach their full potential, but to surpass this, giving them the best opportunity when starting school. The starting point to achieving this goal is recognising your child's interests; their likes and dislikes.
Our nurseries provide the perfect environment in which to gradually prepare your child for school life. We have an extensive range of facilities and specialist teaching so that our children are encouraged to develop an enthusiasm for learning. From cookery classes to French lessons, we offer a wide variety of extra curriculum activities to allow your children to benefit from a breadth of different experiences.
Our aim is to provide a loving, caring home from home environment for all the children in our care to thrive and learn, becoming confident individuals. I have a strong, qualified team working here with me, who have many years experience and an extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, therefore being able to give our children the very best start with their education.
We are registered to care for 59 children and the play rooms that we have are a Baby room, Toddler room, Older Toddler room, Little Learners, Pre-school and we have a Library which all age groups use. We have a large outdoor area which is part wetpour and astro-turfed. We have a wide variety of outdoor equipment, all of which promotes each child's physical development.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 14 months old. She will be leaving to go to school in September 2022. My son has been attending since April 2021.
This nursery has been exceptional in the undivided and genuine care and love they have shown my children. Attentive to their every need, informative updates at the end of each day and going above and beyond by learning the names of family members nearest and dearest to our children, to make personalised father's Day cards for grandad.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, safe, environment, for your children, keep looking. Little Ripley is certainly not the sort of establishment you should send your child to.
My daughter attended this nursery for a year, and I found out that they were letting her out daily to see her Father, despite knowing there was a restraining order in place and against my wishes. Massive breach of safeguarding.
Then how they handled it was even worse. Disgusting. Unprofessional. Unapologetic.
Thankful I took my daughter out of this place.

I have been using this nursery for the past 4 years with 2 different children. I would not put my kids anywhere else, they are like my children's second family. They are so loving and caring, and always put the children first. My kids have so much fun, and learn so much from all the staff. Thank you so much ❤

Our daughter started here in 2016, so we had no hesitation in sending our son here too, in 2019. Mandy is an excellent manager and the staff are superb. It’s like a home from home for our children. Everyone cares about them and knows them so well. My daughter loved it here and my son, who still attends, loves it too. I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a caring, fun and educational setting.

Cannot recommend highly enough! All 3 of my daughters attended, with my youngest still there. Wonderful family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff & excellent care. Staff clearly love their jobs and have wonderful relationships with the children. My older daughters loved their time at Little Ripley and still enjoy going in to see the staff for a catch-up. When you join Little Ripley Wood End Lane you get much more than outstanding childcare, you become part of a wonderful family.
