We are a family-run nursery, and have been operating from our premises on Kings Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, West Midlands B73 5AE for over 20 years. We set about recruiting the best staff who have a multitude of skills and talents which are well employed at Rowans. Our management team consists of two very experienced Managers both with over ten years of experience of working in the nursery. Both managers have attained a Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education.
All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday). At The Rowans we offer the free funded hours in a variety of ways so we can support each family to the best of our ability.
Thank you for all your help and support with Leah she has absolutely loved every minute at your nursery. The nursery as a whole is excellent and has everything to suit the needs of my child, overall 5 star. Following a recent visit to the health visitor the Rowans Team are to be commended on their observation of children's needs.
All our children will follow the national Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is a framework designed to support each child's individual learning to give your child the best possible start in life. The emphasis is on learning through play, which we facilitate with a long term topic plan and also with carefully planned activities, both adult-led and free choice.
