Our vision is for a happy, safe learning environment which enables the whole community to achieve, enjoy learning and aspire to be the best they can be. We work closely with families and other partners to deliver a rich, diverse and fun curriculum which enables all pupils to engage in their learning, be independent and succeed.
We believe we achieve this through building character education and resilience. It is our opinion that children are not born with or without character and resilience traits. Rather, they learn how to develop and use these skills throughout their lives.
Most parents and teachers could think of nothing better than having children continuously working at their optimum, always getting their work correct, achieving all they set out to do and never breaking our 'golden rules'.

Our School Council is made up of two representatives from each class in year one and year two. The children are voted for by their classmates in our school council elections. We believe that children should be given opportunities to contribute to decisions and have a 'voice' in school and we plan for the School Council to be involved in the interviews for our new Head teacher.
At Crest Infant and Nursery School we believe that we are educating the whole child and providing that child with skills, knowledge and attitudes for life. It is essential that children are highly motivated, interested and have a sense of their own achievements. Both teachers and parents have a role to play in maintaining positive attitudes to learning and thereby enhancing the child's self-esteem.
Currently we are not running lunchtime clubs due to staffing our 'bubbles' but we do have some after school clubs for the children to attend. Extra-Curricular Activities occur throughout the year and all children have the opportunity to expand their interests in a variety of different ways.
