Our nursery was opened in 1996 by sisters Sue and Alison, who still own and run the nursery along with their daughters and team of dedicated staff. At Castle View Day Nursery, it is our mission to maintain a caring, stimulating and happy environment whilst challenging the children to ensure effective learning.
As well as our Strood site we run Cliffe Pre-school, which is just a 15-minute drive from Strood and benefits from a large woodland area for outdoor learning. At Castle View Day Nursery we realise the importance of fresh air and outdoor learning. Therefore, two of our practitioners committed to providing such opportunities in our outdoor area in Cliffe are undertaking level 3 Forest School leadership training.

Services
One of the main reasons parents trust us with their child's care is our level of experience and expertise, which is proven in our staff and the certifications we hold. As well as the owners of the nursery, who are always on site, we have one Level 6 qualified practitioner and five other carers working towards this degree.
EYFS stands for Early Years Foundation Stage. It is the framework by which all children in England concentrate on their well-being and growth as they begin development and prepare for their introduction into compulsory education. We promote teaching and learning to ensure that each child is ready to start school with a broad range of knowledge and skills.
Our fees are fully inclusive of nappies and wipes and formula milk for babies under the age of 1 year. We accept all employer vouchers and if we are not already registered it is a simple process. Caring for children from three months to eight years old in a secure, structured and stimulating environment.
Castle View Day Nursery have been around for over 20 years with children benefiting from our wonderful staff and play area. Very good nursery, would recommend to everyone.
Nursery staff are very kind and helpful, all children look happen when I pick my son up.
Since my done going to this nursery he is popping up with new words everyday and so much more.
Owner is very kind to everyone, easy to manage time with nursery as well.
All my other 2 children went to 1st friend day nursery when they were younger, learnt absolutely nothing.
I would say this is an outstanding nursery to me, strongly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Staff are so friendly and really care for the children. My son has been attending for two years and he loves going, he has grown confident and learnt so much he surprises me everyday. The girls who work there are simply brillaint and the owners and office ladies are fab. Everyone has made such an effort with my son and really looked after him I will be sad when he leaves. Best nursery in Medway by far. Highly recommend.
