The Howard Nursery School provides a warm, friendly and caring environment for every one of its exceptional little people. The Howard Nursery School aims to provide the best possible learning environment for children aged 18 months - 5 years old. Base rooms are bright, warm and welcoming and have been designed to provide an environment ensuring the principal areas of learning are accessible to all our children.

Services
We request that children attend a minimum of three sessions per week (morning and/or afternoon sessions) so that they feel happy and settled at nursery. Nursery fees are payable termly in advance by BACS and can be paid in two instalments; 50% on the first day of the first half-term and 50% on the first day of the second half-term.
Every Tuesday, we are fortunate to have use of the Forest School at St Lawrence Primary School. Part of The Howard Partnership Trust, St Lawrence is a popular primary school close to the nursery and many of our children have siblings that attend. The short stroll to and from Forest School is very much part of the adventure!
All of our members of staff are dedicated to creating a safe, happy, caring and educational environment for your child. We have robust recruitment system in place through our management within The Howard Partnership Trust and all members of staff have undergone an enhanced DBS check and hold a paediatric First Aid Qualification.

The Howard Nursery ensures that the four over arching guiding principles that shape Early Years Settings ( as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework) are fully embedded in the day to day life at the Nursery. We treat every child as a unique child, help them to learn through positive relationships in an enabling environment and recognise that children learn in different ways and at different rates.
