Please keep up-to-date on our Facebook page for all the latest. Translates as revolution. The Biplob can also offer in-house catering for up to 140 people in 3 separate party rooms. Our go-to Indian restaurant, we are regular patrons usually on a Sunday evening for their excellent buffet. Plenty of choice at a good price.

About Us Report

Translates as revolution!. In Old Town Swindon for over 30 years. The Biplob first opened in Swindon in the late 1980s. It's aim was to make and offer authentic Indian Cuisine of the highest order. Very soon The Biplob had started to make a niche in the hearts of those whose palates appreciated the specialities we had to offer.

If there is something you like that you can't find in our menu or we previously offer which is not listed please inform the waiter/manager we would do our best to prepare it for you or advise of something similar.We welcome inquiries from our patrons who wish to know whether any meals contain particular ingredients.

Showed up for a friends birthday 6 of us all working out of town .... from the second we walked in we was treated like dogs the manager nearlly found him self in a.e never again and i advise everyone going to get a takeaway .. full paying customers u think we was ready to do a runner very dissapointing

Traditional curry house, clean restaurant with nice staff. Good portions too but my curry was hotter than other places for the same dish, tasty though & washed down with Cobra on tap.

In the heart of Old Town, this big spacious restaurant allowed us to attend on a Friday without booking for two people. The staff were very attentive. We had a lovely meal.

This place never fails to deliver on service, price and taste.
Our favourite dish is Biplob Supreme. If only they could turn the volume down on some diners it would be more enjoyable, but I guess you have to expect loud drunken diners on a Saturday night in Town

Discovered by accident we had such a wonderful meal here we came back the following week to confirm and were not disappointed. The food is exquisite, expect to pay a little more than your standard tandoori. Recommend the seafood specials and the lamb which was tender and flavourful.

Weve been here twice once in July and again in August.
We can't fault the food or portion sizes. Well cooked , well presented. I love their naan bread and Lamb Tikka Masala 10/10 .
Our favourite Indian in Swindon , delicious.
