Firstly, thank you for making the time to visit what I hope you think is a fabulously informative website. We are a fully inclusive 4 form entry Catholic Primary School that serves the north Liverpool community for children from aged 2 to Year 6. Blessed Sacrament is at the heart of our local Catholic community where together, rooted in faith and Christ's inspiration, we tirelessly support all children and their families to be inspired to achieve their very best.
Our school holds the awards for the Inclusion Charter Mark and Basic Skills Quality Mark with 'exceptionally high standards with exemplary evidence'.We are also accredited with the Early Years Quality Mark, International School Award, Global Learning Programme, Healthy Schools Award and we are a Spanish Centre of Excellence (and we hold many more!).

Services
All governing bodies of maintained schools, maintained nursery schools and the proprietors of academy schools have a legal duty to publish information on their website about the implementation of the governing body's or the proprietors policy for pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability).
Over recent years the Government has allocated schools additional funding (Pupil Premium) to support vulnerable pupils to achieve success in school life. This amount of funding is determined by the number of pupils eligible for free school meals. At Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School, Pupil Premium money is used to ensure all FSM children and Looked After Children (LAC) are supported in order to help them achieve success.
For the Year 2018-2019, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School achieved 96.5% of all Year 6 pupils able to swim 25 metres or further using a range of strokes. We used some of our Sports Premium Funding to pay for top up lessons in the Summer Term which proved very successful.
We feel that the 3.5% of children who didn't achieve their 25 metres had valid reasons, but all children who took part in swimming lessons made progress and gained confidence.

At Blessed Sacrament we are committed to providing additional facilities beyond the normal school day. An extended school is open to pupils and their families throughout the school day, before and after school hours. The services offered by our school include childcare and learning and some recreational activities for all members of our school community.
The Infant School Council wanted to raise some money for Zoe's Place and decided to make up toys to sell. As you can see from the photos, they have been busy hiding toys inside eggs. These eggs will be available soon in the Infants for 1 each. There are different toys to collect. Please help the children raise money for Zoe's Place.

The school has had a massive refurbishment as it caters for 700 young people. I've met some truly exceptional staff at this school...Anne McKenna is one of the best school mentors I have come across. We worked together on child/family issues.
I had a wonderful final assembly with the children prior to my retirement!!!
