Nowadays most people know the benefits of yoga. Yes it can help you physically, with posture and strength. But yoga is much more than the physical postures (Asana). By involving the breath, the practice becomes more then the physical, it also becomes about the mind. What Asana is to the body, the Breath practices (pranayama) are to the mind.
Yoga thus encompasses a Mind Body practice. For me, yoga is about nourishment and wellbeing. After practice you want to feel vitalised, full of Prana (vital force). Yes a class can be challenging however you should not walk away from a class feeling exhausted. That is not the purpose of the practice.

I have been teaching yoga for 19 years and have been practising yoga for over 24 years. My initial training was in India at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerela in 2001, and since then I attended further training and workshops in the UK and the US regularly.
I have studied yoga for Therapy with Doug Keller and structural integration and anatomy with Gary Carter, learning about fascial connections and how we can allow gravity to connect and let our bodies create freedom in movement.I have been studying with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (Sitaram Partnership), Francoise Freedman (Birthlight) and I am Birthlight trained teacher for Pregnancy Yoga, AquaNatal Yoga and Baby Yoga.

There are many reasons to choose private one2one or semi private sessions with me. Private sessions allow a completely tailor made session to suit your needs. Some of my current private students have classes once or twice a week, some have private sessions once a month. Some of my students have a regular home practice and some don't.

I joined Yogabalance about a year ago when I relocated back to Luxembourg and thoroughly enjoy practising with Jen and her experienced teachers. There's a wide variety of classes and teachers to choose from, so everyone can find something to suit them. What is more, Jen truly cares about the students and is a great communicator. I would recommend yogabalance to anybody looking for a studio that offers quality teaching and a varied class schedule.

Best yoga studio in Luxembourg!
The teachers are fabulous and you can choose from many different yoga styles. There are 3 locations and virtual classes every day. We even practice outdoor when it's sunny.
I've never felt better in my entire life, even during these hard times. If you know that you could (and should) enhance your life style: this is the place where you can feel safe to try. Practising yoga benefits your body, your spirit, your mind and your relations. And you'll find out that you can grow muscles even in your toes!

Jen's classes are lovely. She combines charm, a community feel with a deep knowledge of yoga and alignment. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yoga practitioner, you will learn and develop your practice! Jen has a way to break down the most complicated asanas into accessible steps and I have witnessed many students trying things they never had tried before (and developing more self-confidence through this). All of this happens with a lot of attention to safety, huge compassion - and fun:-)!

Great team of professional and warm teachers, diverse offer of classes in two locations situated in two different parts of Luxemburg city, flexible offer of passes or drop-in classes, nice atmosphere. I became addicted since I discovered YogaBalance 2 years ago. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for ways to improve both your physical shape and your mental balance.

I started yoga 4 months ago and i have learned so much since then. Not only about my body but also about my mind. Jennifer and her team are awesome yoga teachers and very professional and patient. They explain well and know when to motivate and help you to reach the next level. You can always adress them if you have questions.
The access to the two yoga studios is easy with good parking possibilities.
The yoga class booking is very flexible, the internet site layout is clear and well organised and always up to date with a lot of informations and workshops.

I started yoga 7 years ago with Jennifer, and she has been my teacher ever since! I have watched her grow as a teacher, her studio grow and my practice grow. There is such a nice variety of classes offered; I wish I could take all of them! Jennifer is very gently, but knows just when to push your limits. I look forward to spending my time there with other like-minded people. The studio is ideally situated with easy access parking. I highly recommend doing yoga, especially as you get older.

I love Jennifers Vinyasa Classes and I would highly recommend them. She explains every pose in such detail that all you have to do is follow her direction and voila you are doing a crazy pose you never thought possible! In many other yoga classes I leave with various aches and pains, especially in my knees, but never in Jen's classes. I don't know what she does that others don't, but it works. 👍🏻
