Services
David Imrie travelled each morning by pony and trap into Glasgow to his farrier's premises near the High Street where he treated the various heavy draught horses which worked within the city at the time. In the afternoons on the return journey he would visit his farm clients in the surrounding countryside, and the dairy cows which were to be found in premises at dairies within the city limits.
We recommend vaccinations for all puppies, kittens and rabbits. Alongside keeping levels of immunity boosted, annual vaccinations are vital as they include a full check-up, and the opportunity to detect illnesses and diseases early on.

Aside from being great fun, these parties provide an opportunity for puppies to socialise with other puppies of the same age - this will help to make them happier and more relaxed around other dogs when they are older. It is also a chance for owners to quiz the nurses on aspects of their pet's care.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
In case of emergency please telephone the practice and you will be directed to our out-of-hours service, which is provided by Vets Now Hospital which is located at 123 North Street, Glasgow G37DA 01413 323212. We receive a fax the morning after your pet has been seen, detailing all treatments and investigations undertaken, enabling us to keep your pet's record fully updated, and allowing us to prescribe follow-up treatment if required.
We've partnered with Video Vets Now so you can speak to a vet from home or out and about - 7 days a week between 8am and 11pm. Consults are 10 mins and cost 24. If your pet needs to be seen by us or Vets Now, your original 24 payment will be refunded. We partnered with Video Vets Now to help you get the advice and reassurance you need, wherever you are.

My dog is a nervous, reactive Staffy, who was neglected and not socialised when he was a puppy and the practice makes arrangements to make him more comfortable. We wait in the car till the vet comes to collect us and if he needs sedation for specific investigations / treatment, they will even administer that in the car . I never feel judged as the owner of a nervous reactive dog and that gives me confidence in using the practice.

Wonderful and caring practice. Especially lovely to our big Sam when we had to sadly say goodbye. Sensitive and caring about his needs, and ours.

Competitive prices. Very caring vets and staff. My dog ended up with a bad infection after being spayed and they looked after her brilliantly. Had to take her in every day for a few weeks and they didn't charge me so saved a fortune. Always have and always will tske my pets here and would recommend to anyone looking for a new vet.

This practice is one of the best in the area
You always get welcomed and the staff are very helpful.
I have used this practice for years and Henry
Has been in there since he was young teenager
He gives great advice and detailed information on the next step for your pets.
I feel confident that advice given is always in the best interest of your pet there is no pressure
To buy things from them.
I would not go by this practice there are a number of vets in the practice you would be mad not to give this practice a go if you value your pet then that’s the practice for you to go to.

Aways found this practice good, even years ago with my present dog was given an emergency appointment, was so relieved, Visit yesterday was pleasant staff and a confident efficient vet. Previously with my old old being put to sleep they were so caring. Why I use them with this dog. Would recommend the practice.

We’ve been taking our 9 month old Labrador puppy here since she came home at 8 weeks old. They’ve always been amazing.
She had a little accident with her baby canine tooth when she was about 4 or 5 months old and she was in for consultation the next day and an extraction surgery was scheduled for the Monday (as she was seen on a Friday). We were so grateful for such a quick turn around - despite the challenges of the pandemic her being in pain was the most important thing for the vets. Recently she was in to be neutered which went really well. Unfortunately, having had these ops, she’s now
