Longoak Pre-school has been established since 1986. We are situated in the village of Bursledon within our local Community Centre. We are a registered charity & provide care & education in a safe caring environment for children aged 2-5 yrs. We have sole access to the hall, small outside patio & nature area.
We are managed by a board of trustees, predominately made up of parents whose children attend pre-school, bringing a community feel to our group. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, then use this along with ongoing discussions with parents and the extensive knowledge and experience of our staff, to plan and support each individual child's needs.

Services
My daughter has loved being at Longoak Pre-school. The staff are not only amazing with the children but also here for us parents too, making it more personal. My daughter has gained so much confidence and made some lovely friendships in her time at Longoak. Overall the staff are excellent with the children and knowing that your child is safe and having fun makes the experience at Longoak Pre-school a great one all round.'

Lovely pre-school & teachers! My son has loved every second of his journey with long oak. He’s grown from a quiet 2 year old that cried when I left, to an independent, polite and happy 4 year old that’s more than ready for school. He’s come on leap and bounds with his learning and made so many lovely memories along the way. Teachers are so supportive and always willing to help the parents and the children.

A massive thank you to my daughter's play school teachers at longoak. she was only 2 when she started at play school, she was shy and didn't want ,e to leave. two years later and she wakes up everyday asking "have I got play school today?" when I tell her yes she says "YAY! playschool" and gets so happy and excited, but gets sad when I tell her no she hasn't. she has achieved so much in her time at longoak. her writing, learning her alphabet, her shapes, painting, drawing and the list goes on..each and everyone of her teachers have helped me and her daddy to shape her into the best little girl
