I'm extremely unlikely to recommend Bournbrook Varsity medical Centre to my all friends and family. One of your receptionist acted very rudely. She was so unkind and even hung up while I was talking. I feel really bad about it. English is not my native language, so it is sometimes difficult to understand what she said on the phone. But Can you justify what she behave for that reason? I think your medical center should educate your staff on how to treat patients.

The reception staff is absolutely appalling. They are rude on the phone, I asked a standard question (can I take my swab test sometime next week?) and the receptionist abruptly asked me for all my details. A conversation that could have lasted 1 minute, instead lasted almost 6. Not to mention, the previous swab i took was declared invalid because it had not been labelled correctly. Before i handed it over to the receptionist i SPECIFICALLY asked if there was anything i needed to fill out and she just took it, tossed it in the pile without a second look and dismissed me. Now i have to take time

Healthcare, like a service industry, is performance driven these days. Just before conducting an annual satisfaction survey, doctors and receptionists in this practice couldn't be nicer but as soon as the survey was over everything went back to normal. I don't find most of doctors here much knowledgeable, having a medical degree myself I find it very difficult to deal with the doctors here. They do not have external knowledge, specially in terms of research advancement in certain areas. They only prescribe what 'the machine' asks them to and clearly feel uncomfortable when someone asks more questions
