Mark One Training started as a need to train our own staff in our parent businesses that provides powered access hire and tool hire.
At Mark One Training we run a range of training courses that are related to all kinds of Industries. We provide everything from IPAF training that relates to Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to First Aid Training and even Mental Health Awareness. Our fully qualified and accredited instructors are on hand to answer any questions you may have during your course and to make your training experience one to remember.
Our IPAF Operator course is designed to address the needs of those operating Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, vertical platforms, static or self-propelled, telescopic and articulating booms.
The IPAF Operator course (sometimes referred to as IPAF license) is a one day course that offers delegates seeking their IPAF PAL Card the choice of 1, 2 or 3 machine categories (IPAF 3A, IPAF 3B and/or IPAF 1B) and consists of a morning of theory plus an afternoon of practical assessment.

Our IPAF Demonstrator training course is designed to address the needs of those who are required to familiarise operators with their responsibilities, demonstrate pre-operational and safe operating procedures and the limitations of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, vertical platforms, static or self-propelled, telescopic and articulating booms.
IPAF has developed the PAL Plus course in response to demand from UK contractors for training that better prepares operators of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) for work in higher risk or more challenging environments. IPAF PAL Plus (PAL+) course is an optional additional full day of category-specific training and complements the IPAF Operator Course by providing further training for MEWP operators.
