Ringwood Bowling Club is situated in the lovely Hampshire market town of Ringwood, with its excellent range of restaurants and shops, on the fringe of the New Forest National Park and only 10 miles from Bournemouth. We like to welcome visiting clubs, whether for friendlies or league matches, and can offer a friendly and sociable atmosphere, a beautiful green and a well equipped club house with tea and coffee facilities and a licensed bar.
The panoramic view below was taken at the end of September. Less than 10 minutes' walk from the town centre of Ringwood, the Club was established in 1933 and is still playing on the same original green: the picture on the left shows the very first wood being delivered on the green by Miss Hilary Christy, whose father was President of the club for 9 years (Photo courtesy of Mr and Mrs D G Rumens).
