Hi, I'm Rosanna Gordon, a British Wheel of Yoga qualified Teacher living and teaching Hatha yoga classes in Liverpool city centre. Classes are suitable for all levels, beginners to more experienced. I've been studying and practising yoga since I was 21, and want to share what I have learnt and experienced with you.
My aim is to help you to feel good both on and off the mat. She does this by creating a warm and nurturing environment, in which everyone feels welcome. Her positive and upbeat approach enables students to feel good about themselves and in their bodies.

I am a qualified Yoga Teacher, having trained with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) in London 2010-2012. I completed the BWY Foundation Course in Berkshire 2009-2010. In 2009's The Yoga Show, London Olympia, I took part in the Yoga Aid Challenge, completing 108 Sun Salutations in two hours, with all donations going towards The Special Yoga Centre charity in North London.

There are various reasons why were not all pushing past one another to get to that picturesque spot in the park. Even though, in theory, we like the idea of taking our yoga practice outside, of feeling the warmth on our skin and of being one with nature, were just not entirely comfortable with actually doing it.
Its time to leave!, our husband calls to us from the other room. Were going to be late for our flight. Oh boy, this is it; were off to stay with the in-laws and for not one, not two, but FIVE WHOLE DAYS. How will we cope? Its the last thing we want to be doing after a long stretch at work, but nevertheless no use complaining.

Iv been attending Rosannas classes for over 2 years, including on Zoom through lockdown. I find her very supportive encouraging style perfect for me. I have learnt so much and made good progress. I love that she always seems to know what you need for that particular session. She has great intuition and is flexible in her teaching., I always leave feeling good. Wouldn’t be without my yoga with Rosanna.

I have been wanting to try yoga for a long while and I gave it a go with Rosanna. I have not regretted it, all the contrary! I love her yoga classes. She is a knowledgeable, patient and kind instructor and her lessons are always a highlight on my week. I have noticed amazing progress and felt very comfortable in her lessons. I 100% recommend Rosanna Yoga!

I’d been wanting to try out yoga for years, but was a bit intimidated and not sure it was “for me”. Rosanna provides a welcoming, safe, and truly inclusive space. She is a real professional and clearly knows her stuff, but isn't afraid to let loose and have some fun when the situation lends itself to a bit of levity. I always feel better, both physically and mentally, after our lessons. Whether you want someone to push you a bit or to allow you to just relax (cuz we all need different things on different days), Rosanna is your girl!

Rosanna is a fantastic teacher. I was really nervous about starting Yoga and she was very patient and kind. She encourages me and gently pushes me in a really good way. I really benefit from the sessions physically and mentally, I come away from the session refreshed and calm. I can highly recommend Rosanna as a teacher I’m so glad I gave it a go and found Rosanna to teach me.

I've been attending Rosanna's class at the Friends Meeting House for 9 months now and I thoroughly enjoy it. Her class is very accessible and she always provides options to suit different levels. The beauty of her approach is that it allows you to gradually build your practice and get to know yourself through yoga.

Rosanna is a caring and gentle yoga teacher, but she will push you without you even noticing it. She is experienced and will always find a way to help you and encourage you. I started taking her group classes, which are very relaxed and intimate (at the Quakers in Liverpool) and soon after I asked her to do some private classes for me... not… knowing what to expect since I've never taken private classes! She listened to my needs and created sequences that developed my confidence and skill... thanks for the headstand!! I am very grateful for her guidance and patience. Namaste.

Had the most amazing time with Rosanna and a wonderful group of people on her first yoga retreat to Spain, May 2017.
Rosanna's incredibly supportive, relaxed and friendly teaching style meant that we all gained loads in confidence in our twice daily practice in the sun, aside from the amazing spa hotel setting, extra excursions and great food and drink on offer!! Everyone was keen to sign up for the return trip!😃

My one-to-one sessions with Rosanna have been an invaluable support in the last year over a period of massive change in my life. Rosanna is incredibly kind and forthcoming with adjustments and extra tips, and is always willing to cater a practice to how I feel on the day. Although my classes have achieved everything I'd originally hoped they would - giving me a space to be focused and calm as well as helping me to become stronger and more flexible - they've also been an unexpected amount of fun.

Rosanna is an amazing yoga teacher and a truly lovely person. I was a total newbie when I started going to her classes and was definitely a little bit apprehensive about everything but Rosanna made me feel so welcome and comfortable from the very beginning - I've never looked back. She has such a calming presence in class and is really good at gauging where her students are at and guiding them as appropriate - whether that's suggesting pose variations according to ability or just making simple adjustments to correct technique and prevent injury. Going to group yoga classes with Rosanna has become one of the highlights of my week. Prior to this year I’d never tried yoga and didn’t know what to expect at all – Rosanna made me feel very welcome and now I know I’ll always leave yoga feeling more relaxed and energised than when I went in. I am more or less a beginner. Although I play sports (tennis) I am very inflexible and always have some kind of pains somewhere. I wanted to maintain my body supple in order to relieve those pain and to condition my body so that I can keep on playing tennis. I started sessions with Rosanna on recommendation from my friend. Boy, that was inspirational!
Rosanna knows how far I can go and where it needs working on. She always come prepared and very attentive. Often I arrive at the session feeling battered, then one hour later I leave

A perfect yoga retreat in Spain lead by the fabulous Rosanna. It was such a joy to be part of a great group of people having yoga in the sun every day, in a beautiful location. What an incredible week spent in beautiful sunny Spain at Rosanna's retreat. Rosanna has been the only teacher who has really introduced and adapted yoga for me. I did not feel self conscious in her groups as they are so accessible and accepting. She's truly altered my mind set on the idea of yoga and due to her approach I now use yoga as an everyday tool :) I can't thank you enough Rosanna and am so sad to see you leave Cambridge. Liverpool are gaining a great leader full of knowledge and expertise!

Rosanna is a great yoga teacher who is dedicated and sensitive to her students needs. She offers clear instruction in carefully thought out classes, which offer variety and depth and at the same time cater for absolute beginners. My review is based on a Gentle Yoga class which I attended for a year in Cambridge a couple of years ago. I highly recommend Rosanna's classes and expect she is even better on a one to one basis. Well worth a try!!!
