My name is Maria Bukovenczki. I have worked in childcare for over 30 years and have seen many changes. At Langham we have a more relaxed approach to learning, we plan and extend activities through the children's interests. I adore the location of Langham and the countryside feel. I have enjoyed this term watching the children learn, and the new children settling in and becoming confident in their new surroundings.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. The EYFS is mandatory for all schools and early years providers in Ofsted registered settings attended by young children - that is children from birth to the end of the academic year in which the child has their fifth birthday.
My son absolutely LOVES attending Langham Preschool. He's been attending since he was 2 and it's been excellent preparation for school in September. Maria and the team are excellent and organise lots of thoughtful activities to encourage development and keep the children thoroughly engaged. I'm sure my son will miss it very much when he goes to school in September especially exploring the amazing garden!
We are very fortunate to have strong links within our community and Parish Council. The local primary school Langham Primary are very supportive of us: the school has a small intake, much of which comes from our pre-school. The reception teacher often visits and advises us on how to get the reception class 'School Ready'.
Every child is eligible for government early education funding from the term following his or her third birthday. This universal free entitlement provides a maximum of 15 hours per week over 38 weeks of the year (term time). Funding for 3 and 4 year olds may be split between two different early years settings, to a maximum of 15 hours per week.
We're always happy to have a chat and answer your questions. Visitors are most welcome and we strongly recommend that you bring your child to look around the Pre-School prior to your decision to register. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. All visits must be booked in advance and we ask that only one adult per household attends with the child.

I've recently started bringing my daughter to Langham Pre-School's stay and play session held on a Friday afternoon and cannot rate it highly enough. The staff are amazing with all the children, the activities… are exceptional and inclusive of every ability and the setting is lovely. This is by far the best stay and play we have been to!

This afternoon my friend and I and our 4 boys (2x2 and 2x8months) attended the stay and play session. I can’t recommend it enough the facilities of the playgroup are spot on as well as the location with good… parking, and a lovely park just behind. But the thing that made it stand out so much for me were the staff they were so welcoming and friendly and so fabulous with the boys I will definitely attend again and definitely recommend 😀

We can not rate Langham Pre-School highly enough. Our daughter has loved her time there over the last few years. I really feel their teaching and support has given her a great head start and will help prepare her for school in September. They have also been amazing during the whole of lock down, keeping in contact and updating us with all that's going on, as well as sending videos and activities through tapestry to help keep us busy. We definitely recommend them!!!

I cannot rate this preschool enough! Both my children are so happy here, they are excited to go each morning. The staff are friendly and caring and are great at bringing the best out in the children. As a parent I am kept up to date with their activities and learning, even though the growth and development in the children is evidence enough. … During the lockdown, the preschool kept us up to date with developements. They used tapestry as an effective way to communicate with all parents and even the children, with plenty of ideas of what we could do to support or childrens learning at home

Both my boys attended Langham Pre school in the last few years and I am very happy I chose it for them. For me a 5 min drive from Highwoods out to Langham was well worth it, driving away from the hustle and bustle to a quieter village. Langham Pre School is in a beautiful countryside setting. My boys always had fun, met good friends and always… came out happy full of chat about their day. I felt confident leaving the boys with the staff and knowing they were well cared for and in good hands! The preparation for school has been excellent and has really helped them to settle well into primary

My son loves attending Langham Pre-School due to its friendly and inviting environment. The staff know the children well and there is great interaction between them and the children. The staff focus on the children’s interest and expand on this through the curriculum changing the environment to suit there learning needs. There is a great sense of… community and the Pre-School are good at communicating with parents and involving us within the pre-school setting. All three of my daughters have attended Langham Preschool - we began our Langham pre-school journey in 2008 and my 3rd (and last) daughter leaves this Summer; July 2017.
I have always felt comfortable leaving my children knowing they are in safe hands; the staff have always been friendly, professional and approachable.
The preschool is a fantastic place to learn, plenty of indoor areas to play, interesting activities to participate in and it has a great outdoor space with a climbing frame, space to grow plants and vegetables in the summer months and ample space for ride ons and play.

My daughter has attended Langham pre school since February. She started with just one day a week then moved to 3 days now she goes every day because she absolutely loves it. Staff are amazing. They really… promote confidence and independence in the children. They are all so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this pre school to everyone.

Excellent pre-school with a homely feel and warm, friendly and experienced staff. My son started here in September 2017 (just turned 2) and even in such a short time I witnessed him grow in confidence, improve his speech and vocabulary and become more independent. He bounces into pre-school every session and loves it! He always talks about his key worker who he adores and can't wait to go again. It's such a great environment and has so many things for the children to do. It's a well organised, stimulating and challenging environment where it is clear from the moment you first witness the children
