We are very proud of the Staff at Rose Villa. They promote the ethos of what we wish to achieve, and they do this willingly and cheerfully, as we promote laughter but always giving dignified assistance where necessary. You will see this when you visit us. The accent on the Care that we provide is to ensure independence and dignity.
Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff always have time for a chat, as well as organising activities to keep our residents involved and interested in life. We also have a bookcase, absolutely bursting with books and DVD's. Communication is important to the residents. This can be in different forms.

I am sending a copy of a family photo of Rose Villa when the house belonged to my ancestors. I would guess the date to be about 1910. I thought you might be interested to see that not a lot of changes took place over the years. The second photo I took when we were in Hampshire sometime in the late 1980s and at that time it was being used as a care home.
Every Residential Home that you look at is different. You must choose on the basis of what you see, the information given, and also what your own requirements and needs are. You must feel welcomed the minute you step through the door. This is a HOME in all sense of the word. We have a quote on the wall inside the front door, all staff respect the fact that "Residents at Rose Villa do not live in our workplace, we work in their Home".
Rose villa has a beautiful garden for residents and families to relax in. Mainly thanks to Russ (the Boss) who loves the garden dearly and has been known to mow the grass 3 times in one day. The garden is laid to lawn with borders of mature plants, seasonal bedding plants and a patio area. Squirrels, robins, pigeons and the occasional fox are regular visitors.

My Mum has been in Rose Villa for only three weeks. She had previously been in hospital for 12 weeks . The care and love she has received since being there is amazing . Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff . My Mum is happy and this can be heard in her voice when I phone her . Rose Villa you are all very special and words cannot thank you enough . I would fully recommend as a very caring care home .

My Mum has just passed away . She lived here for just over two years . She had the very best care , she was loved by the staff and she died in the most peaceful and dignified way . The staff are without doubt the best . They support, care with dignity, keep the home spotlessly clean , ensure all residents needs are met and beyond . I can’t recommend this home enough . I’m so happy I chose it for my Mum . During COVID, the home have successfully kept the virus away from staff and residents. They opened up visiting as soon as they could to families with specific measure to ensure staff
