We are completely independent and only offer the best digital hearing aids and tinnitus devices from the following hearing aid manufacturers; Widex, Phonak, Unitron, Starkey, Oticon, Resound, Siemens, Bernafon and Soundcure. Leon is the Lead Audiologist and Director at The Hearing Clinic, Henley. He is a leader in the field for fitting hearing aids, and particularly enjoys finding hearing aid solutions for complex cases.
Our Audiologists have spent many years in education and training in a variety of settings including; hospitals, educational institutions and private practices in order to become leading experts in their field. All Hearing Aid Dispensers and Audiologists must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) by law, in order to dispense hearing aids in the UK.
If you are suffering from excess ear wax, our microsuction wax removal service is the safest and quickest way to relieve your symptoms. We help tinnitus sufferers understand and ease their symptoms so they can take back control. There are many different types of assistive listening devices available designed to help people with and without hearing aids.
With over 14 years experience in the field, Leon started his training in 2006 and became a qualified hearing aid dispenser in 2007. In 2010 he went on to receive his Masters Degree in Audiological Science from the prestigious University College London, where he took a keen interest in the generation sites of tinnitus, resulting in the topic for his thesis.
Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) is often described as a sudden deafness and is a medical emergency. Typically in 90% of cases, this will only affect 1 ear. The hearing in the affected ear/s will diminish rapidly, either all at once or over 2-3 days. Patients often report waking up with no hearing in one ear whilst some experience a noise or loud pop and then the hearing in the affected ear is gone.

I had ear wax removal today for the first time and I was very scared but bethany Lewis and another lady was very friendly bethany was so understanding and gentle she made me feel so at ease . Thank you very much and hank you Jesus now I can hear out of both ears again im so happy. I would recommend the hearing clinic in henley to go to if you need ear wax removal .

I would just like to recommend The Hearing Clinic in Henley.
My Mother suffers with Dementia and Leon and his receptionist, Kinga were so patient with her.
Yesterday , my Mother had a problem with one of the Hearing Aids. I phoned the Clinic and spoke to Kinga, and as she lives relatively close to my 90 year old Mother offered to collect it from her and has today returned it to her, now working perfectly. She went out of her way to assist me and I can't thank her enough.

I was fitted with hearing aids at The Hearing Clinic in Henley a couple of years ago and cannot recommend the clinic highly enough. Leon and his colleagues are extremely professional and thorough and I continue to be delighted with the quality of the product. If you are experiencing hearing problems, The Hearing Clinic in Henley is definitely the best place to go!

It's a real pleasure to visit the Hearing Clinic. The atmosphere is super friendly and Leon does an excellent job. I've had problems with hearing aids from other clinics but this one is brilliant. You can tell that it really matters to Leon that all of his patients have the best service and he is completely focused on achieving that.

I went for my first appointment 10 months ago, Leon referred me to the NHS after my hearing test came back with severe hearing loss at just 43. Leon was excellent and his advice to go and get NHS hearing aids, try them to see how I got on with them was great. Mainly Leon advised me to do that to see if I would actually wear them without spending my own money. That proved to me that he was not in it for just another sale but his advice was genuine. So I'm nearly a year down the line and I've decided to go and try some new hearing aids from The Henley Hearing Clinic, once again I have seen Leon and

Visited the clinic today as I’d had really blocked ears for a week and was in a lot of discomfort. I have very small ear canals and had a big build up and Leon did an amazing job and didn’t give up on trying to clear them. I felt relaxed and comfortable and in good hands. It’s such a great feeling to hear again. The Receptionist gave me a warm welcome and Beth was really friendly and gave lots of information and facts. I’ll will definitely visiting again and absolutely worth every penny! Thank you 😊

I just want to say a huge thank you to Amanda for her gentle and caring treatment in removing wax from my ear today (7th June ‘18). I had been in a lot of pain since a doctor at RBH tried and failed to clean my ear 3 weeks previously. Partly my fault. I hadn’t oiled my ear. A second appointment was made - for 8 weeks. The pain got worse.
I was able to make an appointment at Henley within 24 hours and I was counting every one of those hours.

My Mum had been suffering with terrible blocked ears and had completely lost her hearing as a result. The GP surgery didn't help at all saying nothing was wrong! We rang up The Henley Hearing Clinic and got an appointment to be seen the same day. They were so helpful and efficient - even saw my husband at the same time. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting their ear wax removed. We'll definitely be back!

I cannot recommend Leon Cox and his colleagues enough. Such a professional yet friendly and caring service. After having thorough hearing tests, Leon spend time talking through the best aids for my severe hearing loss and then fine tuning my prescription to ensure I got the best sound possible. I was able to try the hearing aids in my own environment for several weeks. I never felt under pressure to buy. I am over the moon with my new hearing aids, they are powerful yet discreet. They have given me my confidence back after a year and a half of being depressed and withdrawn having to use large NHS
