Charlene qualified as an Audiological Scientist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in South Africa in 1997. She worked in private practice in Pretoria for a few years and relocated to the UK in 2001. Here she worked across the NHS and later led the Audiology team at Frimley Park NHS Trust. Since 2012 she has focussed solely on her private Audiology practice, Farnham Hearing.
To be told by an ENT consultant that you are losing your ability to hear is a pretty terrifying experience. Charlene immediately put me at ease and went to great effort to find the best solution for my hearing loss. I feel very blessed to live in an age when profound hearing loss can be managed so well and also very blessed to have received such care from a hearing professional like Charlene.

I visited Charlene for the first time this morning at La Femme, Downing Street, Farnham. I knew that my ears were heavily waxed and needed to be cleared. Charlene did this very quickly and with the minimum of fuss. I found her to be very caring and professional in every way. She is also a charming lady with excellent interpersonal skills. I highly recommend her.

After I saw an ENT consultant at Spire Clare Park Hospital it was confirmed that I had considearble hearing loss especially in my right ear. I was told that the Audiologist, Charlene, in her capacity as Farnham Hearing would be able to provide me with the appropriate hearing aid. Charlene undertook a further series of tests and recommended an Oticon More hearing aid solution. I have been using them for at least 15 hours a day for the last few weeks and Charlene's recommendation has proved to be perfect. I have the highest praise for Charlene and I find a consultation with her an absolute pleasure

I booked a Consultation with Farnham Hearing as I was keen to understand what the condition of my hearing was and whether there was anything that could be done to improve it. I found the time spent with Charlene was focussed, professional and empathetic. She explained everything clearly to me and at the end of the Consultation I had a good understanding of how my hearing compared with the "Norm". I am so delighted that I went here. My hearing has been worse and worse over the past couple of years and Charlene has guided me through hearing aids and I am absolutely delighted. Nobody would know I am even wearing them and I can hear everything again. I would not be without them for the world and Charlene was so expertly helpful during and with on-going support.
I don't think anyone should let the stigma of being deaf prohibit them acquiring hearing aids. It gives you so much quality back that without this life would not be as full.

After using high street stores for my hearing aids for the last 15 years and receiving ever decreasing levels of service and technical capability, I found Farnham hearing from a Google search. What a difference...Charlene is very professional and very knowledgeable, I'd never had such a thorough hearing test and was even tested with new hearing aids fitted - which had never happened before!

I then asked my Partner, who has ear wax removal every 6 months by a Consultant at the Spire Hospital in Farnham, if he would look at my ears, he confirmed the diaphragms were healthy.
The Consultant then introduced me to Charlene, her professionalism, expertise and pleasant personality, have made it a very pleasant experience, explaining everything clearly and effectively.
My Partner and I have been overwhelmingly satisfied with the experience.

I needed to have some ear wax removed. I decided to see Charlene and I doubt that I could have found anyone better; she is very professional, and from the moment I arrived I felt relaxed and comfortable. Charlene took time to understand my hearing issues; she then explained the procedure and gave me some helpful advice. The procedure was undertaken quickly and Charlene explained each step, so I knew what was happening. I would have no doubts about seeing Charlene again, if I ever have any concerns about my hearing.

Recommended to Charlene by Audiologist. After a couple of consultations and hearing tests, Charlene suggested Phonak hearing aids. Now had them for three weeks with hearing much clearer and with bluetooth excellent for phone calls and listening to radio/music.
Charlene has been very helpful throughout the whole process and I would strongly recommend her to anyone with hearing difficulties.
