Stivichall Primary School
As stated in our last newsletter of the summer term 2021, there have been tweaks to our recent procedures, including a minor change to the later group. We are a happy, caring school with high aspirations for all of our pupils and staff. The children benefit from a full and enriching curriculum and learn within a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

At the heart of our school ethos is a desire to provide the best possible learning experience and outcomes for each and every one of our pupils. The Stivichall PTA Annual General Meeting is this Wednesday at 7pm. Why not come along, meet us, hear about what we do to enrich the children's time here and maybe join and offer your help?
Services
On behalf of the staff, governors and children, I would like to welcome you to our school website. Stivichall Primary School is a happy, caring school with high aspirations for all of our pupils and staff. The children benefit from a full and enriching curriculum and learn within a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
We are very proud at Stivichall of our different pupil leader groups who ensure that children's voices are heard and impact on decision making across all aspects of school life. The Pupil Leadership Team has been an integral and important part of Stivichall Primary School for a number of years and were previously known at the School Council.
Schools are not required to publish their results from the academic year 2019 -2020 as these have not been published as performance measures by the Secretary of State. The following are historic pupil performance outcomes. Writing was teacher assessed using the 2019 revised writing TA frameworks.

It is important to note that attainment in all of reading, writing and maths (combined) is not directly comparable to previous years because of changes to writing TA frameworks.100 is the expected national standard, Stivichall pupils perform well (there are no scaled scores available for Writing). Scaled scores of over 110 are considered 'high scores' in Reading, Maths and GPS.
If you are looking for a Primary School place for your child, we currently have a limited number of spaces available in some year groups. The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 requires all infant (Years R, 1 & 2) class sizes to be limited to a maximum number of 30. Admission numbers are therefore based on multiples of 15 and 30, which helps schools to organise infant classes of 30 or fewer.
All children are expected to wear the approved uniform of Stivichall Primary School which gives children an identity and a sense of belonging to our school community when wearing either day uniform or PE kit. The expectations extend to hair style and accessories, including jewellery. You are asked to label your child's clothing clearly (including shoes) to minimise the amount of time spent searching for and returning 'lost' items.
