Dogs Paws & Cats Whiskers

Our 11month old rotti has stayed with dogs paws twice now and he absolutely loves it. We've never been happier to leave our dog with such a wonderful and caring company. Bev and her team are fantastic. He's got acres of land to explore and a very safe environment. He can't wait to go again.

I first tried out Bev’s kennels after being left unimpressed by a couple of others in Derby. This was several years ago and I haven’t looked back since. The dogs are so happy when they arrive for their stay which speaks volumes as to just how well looked after they are. They always leave the same weight that they were when they arrived which hadn’t happened at another kennels. I have recommended Dogs Paws for years now and continue to do so.

We was so impressed with this kennel. We picked our dog up from the kennel today, it was her first time at this particular kennel. We recieved a couple of texts letting us know how our dog was, and what she has been doing during the day. We was reassured knowing she was happy there.
She is now booked in for her second holiday.

I couldn't recommend this place enough to care for your dogs while away on holiday. The guys and gals who ran the place were extremely knowledgable and caring, obviously animal lovers themselves. The manager thoroughly checked the girls vaccinations to ensure they were up to date, I actually witnessed her turn someone away because they hadn't had their dog vaccinated as standard for all kennel stays. This says alot about integrity and professionalism and protects my girls which is what I want to see. Our favourite kennels that we have been using for over 10 years now. The staff are very friendly, and real animal lovers. Accommodation is excellent and heated, with plenty of space. The day is full of activities which keeps your pet entertained socialised and above all vert happy. Couldn't recommend this kennels more highly.

We had friends recommend Dogs Paws to us, our dog has just stayed there for a week and has clearly been very happy and well cared for. We like the fact that the dogs are exercised regularly and with other dogs so they can play. Now that we have found Dogs Paws, we won't send our dog anywhere else. Communication with Bev was excellent and Vicky who showed us round was helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended.

We had our Cockerpoo puppy from My Doodle Dogs and I asked if they could look after him while we were on holiday.
Our dog stayed at Dog Paws for 8 nights which is a long time for a puppy and he clearly had a great time. He has come home happy, has settled back in without any problems and has grown in confidence and size during our week away.
I would happily drive the hour from our house again if we go away for a weeks break as I am very confident that our dog will be loved and well looked after.

I've been leaving my 2 cats at Cats Whiskers for 9 years. I know my cats are safe and well looked after and wouldn't go anywhere else. The facility is friendly and welcoming, with a lovely environment for cats which is clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spotless kennels in a rural setting. Lovely to see all the dogs looking stress free and happy. A complete understanding of my rescue dogs needs was shown. Great facilities and lots of areas for the dogs to play. Will definately recommend to friends.

Have used Cats Whiskers for many years now & my cats are always happy to go. We actually struggle to get them back in their boxes when we pick them up as they love it there. They always look well looked after when we bring them home allowing us to enjoy our holidays without having to worry. Bev, her family & staff are all absolutely lovely & would always recommend them to anyone in Derby who needs someone they can fully trust to look after their cats for a few days or weeks.
