Our Delicatessen is open all day for breakfast and lunch and serves a range of dinner ideas. While our Lifestyle store is open six days a week for some truly bespoke gift ideas.

Delicatessen & Catering Report

You will find a delicious selection of British and European artisan cheeses cut fresh to order from our cheese counter, along side fantastic home produced cakes, quiches and our famous sausage rolls. Our shelves are stacked full of some of the finest produce from this country including artisan chocolates, crackers, jams and chutneys with a range of beautiful homeware and gift ideas.

I cannot fault this place. Firstly, the choice of food, cakes and drinks is spectacular. I'm a green tea drinker and the loose leaf Chinese option is stunning. The food is home made and great for people who like to eat from top quality menus. Great vegetarian, vegan and Gluten free choices. The salted beef is to die for.
Abigail's features in Sawdays guide for motorway services - a must read for travellers who like places as good as this.

Idyllic little deli with seating inside and out. Home made everything, lovely food, staff are all very pleasant and a special shout should go to Simone who was very professional and helpful. They do deliveries, takeaway and we also benefitted from a box for our leftovers after I over ordered, cause everything's so nice. I plan to visit again soon!

The peanut butter on sourdough with bananas, blueberries and honey was perfect , as was the lemon snd blueberry cake . Totally yummy snd very accommodating . They provided a place for our bikes .

Lovely friendly service and the food was even better. The sandwiches are fantastic and I really love the other bits sold in the shop, I will definitely be coming back before Christmas for some stocking fillers.

Only got take away but cakes looked amazing. Settled for a sausage roll and scrumpy scotch egg. Scotch egg was good but the sausage roll was awesome. Stopping in next time I'm passing by

If you ever find yourself in Ingatestone with any hankering for a snack, breakfast or light lunch, definitely stop in here.
The staff are warm and friendly, and what a combo efficient as well. The interior is charming, with a selection of nostalgic gourmet goodies and the menu offers a solid selection. Prices are a steal.
Even medium sized coffees are served in generous mugs and the homemade cookies are a real treat.
