Please Note: Three working days notice is required for all repeat prescriptions (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Prescriptions may be ordered by, post, in person or electronically. Please contact reception to book your flu vaccination if you are eligible. We've packed it full of useful information in a very easy to use format with the added benefit of several online functions.

In addition to GP consultations the practice adheres to the General Medical Services Contract for the provision of healthcare services. The practice is now live with electronic repeat prescribing, this means there will be no paper prescription to collect.

Services
If you need to speak to someone about yourself or a family member when the practice is closed, simply ring 111. When the surgery is closed, if you need urgent medical help, please dial 111, If you are calling about a child under 5, please use the 111 phone service, which is free from both landlines and mobiles.
You can make an appointment with a doctor or nurse by phoning the Health Centre or by calling in person when the reception is open. You can also book appointments online, ask at reception for details. You have a right to express a preference of practitioner and we will do our best to give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice.
If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:00 if you require a home visit. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance. House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.
The practice is now live with electronic prescribing, this means there will be no paper prescription to collect if you have nominated a Pharmacy, it will go direct to the pharmacy you have allocated, if you have not signed up for this service ask your preferred pharmacist and they will register you for this service.
Medication initiated by a GP or a Hospital Doctor may need to be continued beyond the first prescription. To avoid the need for an appointment simply to renew a prescription, an agreement can be made to allow a number of repeat prescriptions. With the ever-expanding range of treatments available, issuing repeat prescriptions has become a major undertaking for general practices and for the system to work well there need to be rules and procedures.

Very disappointed. I've just had a call from Dr Sharma and she said to collect my prescription from them and to knock on their door. I knocked on the door and the reception window and waited. I then see a sign telling us to call the practice and NOT to knock so I call and still no answer. I am.stranding there with a poorly child and spot Dr Sharma and try getting her help to my surprise I get the cold shoulder and brushed away and ignored. She tells me to go to reception and wait so I explained that I already have done and that I was told to knock this door. I tell her I've been waiting. Still

Rang the surgery this morning regarding my 5 month old daughter and received a telephone consultation back within afew hours, Dr Sharma then requested we visit the surgery the same day so she could check her over. Dr Sharma was so nice polite and reassuring upon our visit and we left with medication.

Ordered medication at the end of jan , couldn’t carry out a pill check properly didn’t order meds on their side and 6 weeks later still no medication , have been to attempt collection 4 times after pharmacy staff advised will be ready tomorrow each time . Some doctors and reception staff are very lovely some are quite frankly useless. Badly organised place as a whole. Have been regarding mental health multiple times to be told I should carry on exercising and I might be an emotional person by 2 doctors. Will be changing surgeries as soon as I can.

This practice needs closing immediately, this is a typical experience of using this centre. First of all it takes an age to get through to the rude receptionists, when you do you can't see or speak to a doctor regardless of what is the matter with you for at least two weeks. So reluctantly you wait for a Doctor you have never seen or heard of before, who has no idea of your history (if you suffer from a reoccurring issue). You get the feeling all they want is for you to shut up and leave - they're level of care is non-existent. I've just changed doctors and the service is just incomparable, receptionists

Re patient care at this practice:-
My self along with my family have been patients here for many many years. However, over the past few years I have experienced the patient care at this practice deteriorate drastically and even more so in the latter months.
I have experienced unacceptable patient care along with rudeness and incompetence from the reception staff hence why I’m no longer a patient at this practice.
The practice is not fit for purpose in my opinion and should either close or be staffed with professional doctors/staff who can deliver the appropriate level of care and support to

If you want an appointment at this doctor's you'll be waiting about 2 weeks to get one. The receptionist have no manners and the GPS just want you in and out so they can get home. I would definitely NOT recommend this practice to anyone. New review -- I really hope I get my tablets on time because last time I went 3 days without my tablets and had quite a few epileptic seizures and now I've just ordered them again and the receptionist said sorry your not due them phone back at the end of the week, I always order them a week in advance because I can't go without them due to my uncontrollable epilepsy
