The new national lockdown rules still allow you to come into your GP surgery if it is necessary to do so. Most appointments are now over the telephone but the clinician will arrange for a face-to-face appointment if it is needed and you are allowed to attend.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for. Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as blood pressure measurement and new patient checks.
To help to provide GP services at a time convenient to patients, especially for those who work or those who care for others and need to wait for someone to. Terrible. Impossible to make an appointment for a breathing condition (given a number for somewhere 4 miles away) ask my gp never works, receptionists aren't qualified to make an health based decision. The Review still stands, I really don't see the point in attempting to contact me and explain my decision. Considering twice now I've attempted to call due to my asthma, I've never been asked on why I need a doctor...fobbed off with a phone number

Rubbish. Impossible to get through on the phone lines. They promote AskMyGP, and then that is never open during their opening hours. Log-on at 1pm and it says closed for requests. If you want to clear your phones lines actually open the AskMyGP service. When you do get through on AskMyGP, they give you an appointment in at least 2 weeks, when I can get one the same day using Wigan GP Alliance.

My mum broke a vertebrae several years ago which the doctor missed. She was in a mess and he gave her ibuprofen gel. Several years later they kept prescribing an array of pain relief for her. She was on 5 sedatives that weren't monitored. She ended up with toxicity from them as well as psychosis. Now yet again she has broken another vertebrae as she has brittle bones. She had two visits this week from two different doctors. First one did very little, second one at least booked her for an xray for 4 days later. Got the emergency doc who had her rushed in hospital. Make your own mind up, but for

Great staff never had any issues getting appointments.
Receptionists are quite helpful.
The online system works alright they have recently changed it.
Also helps there is a pharmacy in the same building. My prescripts can be automatically sent there.
30 mins free parking too.

The girls on the prescription phone do a fantastic job, when they are always so busy. Doctor replies pretty much straight away. So keep up the good work, thank you Grasmere staff. Vince

Receptionist has just been so rude to me when I was booking an appointment. I'm sat here in shock!!! Customer service zero!! Shame cause the doctors are really good!!

Couldn't wish for a better doctors surgery. All members of our family have always been looked after to the highest standards here. Doctors have time to actually discuss what is wrong and find a solution. Repeat prescriptions (and we have a LOT!!) are processed quickly and in many cases sent automatically to the pharmacy.
