We are not taking lunch bookings as there is ample seating either outside in our pretty courtyard or inside the caf. Just turn up, find an empty table and order at the counter when you are ready (card payments only). A pager will let you know when your food & drinks are ready at the collection station.
4 - You would of course be very welcome to wrap up, bring a blanket and continue with your booking. If none of the above options work for you, in the event of bad weather please be assured you will not be charged a cancellation fee. The dinner menu is 25pp and starts with nibbles, followed by a showcase of 'chef's choice' light dishes, finished with a choice of desserts.

Services
Our wonderful little kitchen is led by Head Chef Tom Stewart - you'll see him most days, unless he's off with his wife Daisy (who regulars will remember - she's one of the original team!) and their gorgeous children. Tom has been with us since the caf opened in 2012 and has helped it grow from a tiny tea-room into the busy and successful caf-restaurant it is today.
Half baguette filled with Dartmoor ham, cheddar cheese or both, served with root vegetable slaw and leaves 5.50. Half a jacket potato melted with Dartmoor ham, cheddar cheese or both, served with root vegetable slaw and leaves 5.50. Two of our plain scones with Cornish clotted cream, Devon strawberry jam and a cup of tea.

We will be serving a sensational set menu two nights a week (usually Friday & Saturday evenings, but sometimes Thursday & Fridays) with the option to book a table outside in the courtyard, or inside at a safely distanced table. View this week's menu here. 4 - You would of course be very welcome to wrap up, bring a blanket and continue with your booking.
Our farm, Lurcombe Farm, is situated in the heart of the beautiful Dartmoor countryside. With acres of land, we're delighted to be rearing our own Ruby Red cows, dipping our toe into vegetable growing and even creating our own cut flower patch - all to help make Home Farm Caf as local and sustainable as we can.

Booked their vegan cream teas the night before and was not disappointed, the scones were nice and soft on the inside and not to hard on the outside, served with a very generous amount of coconut cream and strawberry jam I had enough to put in my tea (which I did, not sorry) served in a nice and easy to clean up box. Over all I would recommend again if your looking for a place serving alternative tea and scones.

Stopped here en route home, and had a Devon cream tea as my 40th birthday cake. Best decision I ever made. We will be stopping here every time we travel this way again - the plain scones with cream and jam are a firm favourite.
Other half had a baguette, and I was almost sorry I didn't have one too. It smelled amazing, and tasted great. I would not have had room for both though.

Lovely cafè with seating inside & outside, which they allow dogs inside and out. They do take away hot drinks which you can take on a walk around the national trust parke. They do lovely meals and cakes including cream teas. Lovely relaxed & cozy atmosphere. It is child friendly with highchairs but only has a very few amount of food choices on the kids menu, they could do with a couple more items for young children.
