Services
The learning platform that we use at Allesley Hall is called SeeSaw. This platform is used to share and celebrate learning with families. During remote learning this is where teachers set daily learning tasks. Through SeeSaw families can upload their learning so that teachers can give daily feedback to support, address misconceptions and celebrate their successes.
We will be supporting reading through SeeSaw, our online learning platform. We have outlined the whole school provision below. We will deliver daily phonics recorded sessions, stories will be read to children by their teachers and TAs and comprehension and Novel Study activities will also be uploaded.
Practise of spellings is really important. Constant practise helps the children to repeat, revisit, consolidate and really remember the key spellings they need to know. We use the framework below in school and as part of our children's weekly homework to help them develop their spellings throughout the school.
Each week Mr Styles will send out a sporting challenge for the children to complete. It would be wonderful to get your timed efforts in these challenges so that Mr Styles could create a a score chart where we can all try to beat our own personal best. The CSW School Games virtual challenge is an exciting programme of sporting competition running throughout the summer term, giving all children the chance to represent their school team.
Children and families - you have all done a wonderful job over the last few months with home learning. This is evident through the conversations we have had and the communications through email, it has been wonderful to see. We have had requests for extra learning over the summer. We have put together key learning for each year group, skills that children can work on over the summer to help them to 'get ready' for September.
