Our practice has been on its present site in Hodge Hill, Birmingham for more than 50 years, while our branch practice has been serving the pets of Coleshill for over 25 years. Services
There has been a veterinary practice on the Coleshill road site in Hodge Hill since approximately 1960 when Hector Hamilton MRCVS started a veterinary practice. In 1980 Tony and Louise Harrington MRCVS's bought the practice and in 1988 expanded the practice by adding the Coleshill branch. Both Tony and Louise have now retired from full time veterinary practice and the current practice partners are Fintan Farrelly and Catherine Morgan.
There may be occasions when your pet requires emergency treatment outside of our normal opening hours. We are proud to be working in partnership with The Willows Veterinary Centre Emergency Service. The Willows offers our clients a friendly, highly trained and caring team who are available during the night, at weekends and Public Holidays.
We pride ourself on our customer care and have recently refurbished the main practice to ensure our clients and patients receive the best possible veterinary care. When you arrive at either surgery, please let our friendly reception team know and they will aim to ensure that you are seen promptly. We offer 10 minute appointments, using multiple appointments where necessary.
We have two conveniently located surgeries one located in Hodge Hill and the other in Coleshill. At the Lodge Veterinary Centre we believe in great value and always have a range of special offers available. The Hodge Hill Surgery will be open for a limited time on Bank Holidays between 10am and 12 noon for urgent cases for existing clients only.
At The Lodge Veterinary Centre we believe in great value and always have a range of offers available. Please remember to quote the neutering offer when booking your dog in to take advantage of our reduced prices. Buster collars or Medical Vests will be supplied to all animals but this will be at an extra cost, which depends on the individual size needed.

Had my cat looked after here for 5 years now. Every time I've made an appointment, the wait time has been short. The vets have always been extremely friendly and lovely to my cat and myself. Shame that covid has meant you cant go in with your pet but the staff made me feel confident and reassured :) top notch care!
