Services
This fascinating record of the Great War as witnessed by Tonbridge is the result of the exhaustive research by Pam and John, local historians. Whether you are interested in the town or the period that saw the greatest ever mobilisation of ordinary people, this books portrays the very human face and cost of the war to end all wars.

A fab place to poke around books old and new, pick up a bargain or buy something as a gift. Every time I've been in they've made such an effort with the displays, I love the notes dotted around the place.

Fantastic customer service! Whilst in self-isolation and unable to pick up my husband’s birthday present, they offered to hand deliver the book to me to ensure he had it! Amazing!
I love this book shop so much and love to see an independent one on our high street!

Thank you for putting on a brilliant night last night at the “Brilliant Bacteria” talk held at The Old Fire Station. It was funny and extremely well chaired (we could all see the time and effort you’d put into researching and planning your questions for the authors).
Wonderful to have you on the high street and for you to put the event on, publicising local authors, supporting another independent business at TOFS and, most importantly, making us all laugh! Thank you.

No need to hunt any more. We're on the high street. Look out for books on the pavement and our awning out most days.

Nice little bookshop, crammed full of interesting books. Can often try and get books in which is helpful. A can do attitude. I would like to see more book signings. Like having a rummage in their cheap books at the front of the shop. Always a nice display.

A hard to find bookshop (only found it because of a board indicating that it was around the corner in an out of the way side street) in Tonbridge. Really worth finding though, as the shop is packed solid with paperbacks, hardbacks, comics, annuals (superb selection of old 50s 60s 70s Superman annuals in particular), movie books, out of print books, postcards and much more. Best shop in Tonbridge.

A tiny shop, chocka with books. All sorts of books from cheap second-hand paperbacks to sought after first editions with up to 15,000 rare and out of print books.

They also have all sorts of useful things, like bookmarks, reading lamps, local interest, postcards, etc. Once you are in, you can't leave. it's a fascinating find.

You could combine a visit with a pub lunch and a wander round Tonbridge Castle, which is only about 2 minutes walk away!

Have a look at their website for a quick preview.
