Services
To bring to life the history and ongoing development of computing for inspiration, research, learning and enjoyment for the benefit of general and specialist publics of all ages. In support of this we acquire, conserve, restore and reconstruct historic computing machinery for preservation, display, demonstration and research.
The individual honorary fellowships recognise outstanding contributions in computing and computing history. The fellowship honours board, in the shape of an oversized punch card, is in the Colossus Gallery. Margaret Sale joined the TNMOC Board in 2011 and has had an association with the museum since its inception.
While our visitor number are increasing, it has not yet reached the stage where we can open on our normal 6 days a week. Please see below for the days we plan to open over the coming few months. It is with regret that we do sometimes have to close additional days where public demand is low to ensure both visitors and staff/volunteers have a worthwhile day.
Guided tours last approximately 2 hours and cover the full museum collection from Colossus onward. Much of what is on display is fully working and our guides describe how the computers were used, tell anecdotes about their design and operation, and operate some of the equipment. If you wish to make a booking for a group of 10 or more, please contact operations@tnmoc.org to discuss the possibilities of a private tour.
We are located in a one story building and have ramps throughout to any raised areas to enable everyone to access all our galleries and displays. We also have one wheelchair on site. Seating is available throughout the museum for those who wish to stagger their visit around the various galleries and displays.

Had a fantastic afternoon of nostalgia and introducing our 6 year old to the old pc games.
Such a shame we didn't know it was a separate museum to the main Bletchley park which we were directed in to by staff outside. Perhaps better signage from the lower car park would make it more obvious to the uninitiated like us.

This is an amazing must visit place. You will see all ages of computer devices esp home of the world's first electronic computer, Colossus, to help decipher the Lorenz-encrypted. The staff are very helpful and informative. You will be able to learn a lot of things. This place is suitable for all ages who interesting in the history of technology. You should have at least a half day to enjoy your visit. Also make sure that you check opening hour before visiting.

A truly fascinating museum and well worth a visit for all, but doubly so for anyone who can remember first-hand the machines of the 1980s and earlier. Lots of 'hands on' machines where you can play games on the home computers and consoles from the 1980s, as well as examples of 1960s/70s mainframe computers. In addition to the machines themselves, the museum charts how technology has progressed, for example the size and scale of memory devices - the truly massive hard disk platter in the photo could hold just 4Mbytes (each side!) which now wouldn't be sufficient to store the photograph of if that

Very informative Museum with some vintage operational computers. Guides are very friendly and knowledgeable and although it's well explained on the display boards (English only), very happy to talk you through it as well. 2 hours not long enough to see/read everything, we almost missed an entire wing of the more modern systems as the early models were so fascinating. Easy to negotiate in a wheelchair, ample parking, restricted numbers entry means it's not crowded and you can see the displays easily. Nice little gift shop and cafe. Great visit if tech is your thing.

What a fantastic day out, I was especially impressed that the staff was super helpful and super knowledgeable. Our daughters have enjoyed the explanation one of the guys has delivered. Outstanding experience and as an IT enthusiast this was probably the best fathers day I could have ask for.
Thank you again to the gentleman who has taken a lot of time to share all his knowledge, it was amazing.
