We are a family friendly museum located in Banbury's town centre, next to the idyllic canal side, and opposite Tooley's historic boatyard. The Civil War, plush manufacturing, the Victorian market town, costume from the 17th century to the present day and the Oxford Canal: these are just some of the stories illustrated in the museum's galleries.

Loved the museum, very local, interesting displays, however we traveled backwards in time as it took us a couple of minutes
The Bloxham Village Museum is a small but fascinating museum in the centre of Bloxham village near Banbury. The Museum was established in 1980 and celebrates the history of the village. It collects today for tomorrow, items with a Bloxham significance, particularly related to the period when Bloxham was a self-supporting community.
