Here at K9s, our team of professionals are passionate about providing training and home care for your dogs. We know how stressful and disruptive kennels can be, so our carers provide a reliable and enjoyable alternative, which you and your pets can actually look forward to. We also know how important it is to train dogs properly, and help owners to deal with any problems they encounter.
Like people, pets are all individuals, so we tailor our services for you and your pets, and we're happy to help with all sorts of things. No request is too much for us, and when your pet is in our care, you can even stay in touch via Skype.

Services
By providing a comprehensive range of professional dog care services, we can develop a close relationship with you and your dogs. You and your dog's needs will change as time goes by, and we are here every step of the way. You don't have to keep searching for new people to help out, and your dogs don't have to keep learning from scratch.
We always use Glenis for home boarding when we go away on holiday. Our 4 dogs are totally contented and happy when they stay with her - when we drive up her street, we have 4 dogs with wagging tails looking forward to their holiday, and there is no apprehension whatsoever about them getting out of the car to stay with her, which says it all!
We are always looking for experienced, fit and active dog lovers to join our network of Dog Carers, providing Home Boarding for dogs. Dog Carers must be at home during the day, with no children under school age. You must be able to give plenty of attention to dogs in your care throughout each day of their stay, and ideally have a secure dog friendly garden, and direct walking access to parks or countryside where you can exercise dogs.

I cannot recommend K9 & Posh Paws enough, Glenis has helped us no end with training for our rescue dog Jake, he was agoraphobic and terrified when he came to us and with lots of patience and advice and support he's like a different dog, he's relaxed and content and he loves his auntie Glenis!
Jake used to stay with my elderly parents when we went away but as he can be a bit of a handful, he now goes to stay with Glenis and her dogs instead, it means we can now relax and fully enjoy our holidays as Jake boards with Glenis in her home whilst we're away as I'd hate for him to be in kennels as he

K9s & Posh Paws Pet Care is the most sincere and thoughtful dog service within West Yorkshire! When you know that the owner of the business has four of her own pampered poodles, that speaks volumes to me! You know you can trust your loved pet within in the care of Glenis, if you're planning a holiday, shes a dog lover through and through, so why trust anyone else? Also her dog training classes are well executed and well thought out, its also a good reason to partake as all dogs need to socialise with other dogs - happy life for your pet and a happy life for you! Old School Barbarism.
I took a week off work to train our new puppy when we got him at 8 weeks. In a couple of days he had totally got sit, stand and wait using positive reinforcement, no pushing prodding forcing training and just words/food/hand actions. We just followed videos on the web 4 times a day for 2-3 minutes at a time (you soon know when).
After 5 months we opted for proper training as we have specific issues we needed to iron out and got in touch with k9s and posh paws in Wakefield. So we paid 100 gbp (seemed too cheap) for 'personal training over 5 weeks'.
