Services
Established in 2008 Your Local Pet Care Service has grown out of my genuine love of animals of all kinds. It all began when I was asked to look after a friend's King Charles Spaniel whilst they were on holiday. Gradually people started asking me if I could give their dog a walk when they were busy, or feed their cat when they went on holiday.
You may need to be away from home for a variety of reasons - working long hours, having a day out or fulfilling family commitments. Your pet is a treasured member of your family and I offer you the peace of mind in knowing their needs are met when you can't be there. Meal time visits and play and comfort breaks which means you can be assured of your dog's contentment until you return home.
Helen Blakeway is the perfect caregiver.everything is handled. She is reassuring, careful, immaculate with everything from food dishes to the litter box. She's lovely to our two cats, making it a positive experience while we're away. Frank and Elsie love walking with Helen and feel very comfortable in her care.

Firstly to mention I did personally message the owner to provide feedback on our exchange and I had no reply. I would always give someone the opportunity to give their side privately before leaving any review but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Incredibly rude…Came to quote and I was greeted with “you should have told me there was no street name” then told this is a favour as the traffic where we live is bad and she won’t be doing it in the future. Then given a lecture about covid and isolating which as a teacher that’s worked through covid I don’t need. Implying that I was being

Would wholeheartedly recommend Helen for all pet care. She's an obvious animal lover and takes the ultimate care over all pets. She's amazing at communication, flexible, and genuninely caring --and above all my dog loves her and can't wait to go out every single time! She's very clued up on dogs' behavioural and health issues as well. And we trust her completely and will be asking her to look after our cat and house as well when we go away in the future.
