Having grown up on a farm, I've loved animals from a very early age - both learning about and taking care of them. I set up New Forest Pet Care in 2015 to fulfil my long term dream of working with animals and now I have the opportunity to help busy pet owners in Leeds care for their special friends.
I'm experienced in handling many different breeds and behavioural issues. I understand that all pets have their own unique personality traits and always take time to get to know them well and build a trusting relationship with their owners. Many of our valued clients have brought their dogs to New Forest Pet Care as they didn't want to leave them in kennels. We will take care of your dog in a loving and homely environment with plenty of playtime and cuddles. We have a flexible drop off/pick up policy and provide regular updates whilst you're away so you can relax knowing your pet is having a great time with Us! 25/night, 50% discount for an additional dog from the same house.
After searching for a while, I can't tell you how glad I am that we found Barbara! We've used services before and although they have been okay I don't think we will use anyone else now! I felt super confident after our first meeting that Barney would 100% be looked after while we were away - it was great having little updates too.also made a couple of new dog buddies!

Couldn’t ask for anybody better to walk Daisy! Although she likes to make Barbara come and collect her from whatever floor she’s on in the house, she absolutely loves her walks and looks like she has a great time. She’s also made some lovely doggy friends too. I LOVE the photos. Would recommend to anybody in the area!

I have used barbara and her boarding service for about 3 years. my beagle regularly was boarded and looked like he had great fun. Barbara has always taken great care of him and I still think she would. Just recently there have been 2 times when I have arranged for him to be boarded and this has been agreed with Barbara and then there has been an… issue with this. Had it not been for the pandemic I would have been abroad on one of these occasions so would not have been able to go due to lack of dog care and for the second I have booked a weekend away that would not happen had a family member

What can i say......my little pooch has had the time of her life with Nelly and Barbra for the last 2 days! Thank you for looking after her, I cannot reccommend you highly enough for dogsitting and walking!! I… felt very comfortable knowing she was in the best hands and being looked after like the little diva she is 😉. Thanks again and will certainly be using you again for Beau's little poochy holidays 👍😉🙂🙂

100% would recommend Barbara, she is very professional, trustworthy and loves dogs. Jarvis loves walks with her and the other pooches. He comes home very happy and well exercised and I can rest assured that he is safe and well looked after. Jarvis did also stay with Barbara back in the day we was aloud holidays abroad and am sure he will again. There is noone else I'd leave Jarvis with now.

Barbara is amazing with our two dogs, a big and always-on-lead Golden Retriever, and an energentic always-off-lead cocker spaniel. She manages them both well, is always accommodating to our needs and the dogs genuinely love seeing her. She takes them into her home and sends lovely pictures of them lounging around her house, on walks with other dogs and so on. Barbara provides an excellent service and I heartily recommend her.

Barbara is fantastic and would definitely recommend. She is very accommodating, (even with my over protectiveness) when I was boarding my two fur babies. They felt very relaxed and she fidnt want to chsnge their routine whilst with her. An absolute animal lover and treat them like her own. Couldn't have asked for more!

I use New Forest Pet care to look after my 2 dogs. I honestly can't recommend them enough to anyone. Barbara really does love them and look after them like her own both on walks and for boarding. After putting them in kennels once, I'd never do this again as at New Forest Pet care it's home from home for them (I don't even think that they miss me when I'm gone). With regards to walks Barbara is trusted and has never let us down.
