Trying something new can be a little bit scary, but what a great feeling when you make the connection. We're trying new things all the time and we want you to try them too, so come with us and we'll help connect you with art, nature, history, ideas - and each other. Discover the real story of Sheffield, from its geological roots to the people, politics and music that shaped the modern city.

Home to Sheffield's visual art collection, including works by Cezanne, Burne-Jones, Turner, Bridget Riley and Damien Hirst. The start of April marks a huge moment for Sheffield's museums, galleries and heritage sites - this week, Museums Sheffield and Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust officially join together to become Sheffield Museums, a new unified museums service for the city and its people.

Very impressed with this museum. Wish I could go back without the kids as I could've spent a lot longer there. I especially enjoyed the local heritage and history as they really brought that to life.

Free for all exhibitions at the museum and generally a very nice clean park to visit, specially on a sunny day

Weston Park Museum is a great place to visit whatever your age, but particularly for young (and very young) children.
The current exhibition of works by Kenneth Steel is particularly worth seeing - an amazing range of engravings, posters, water colours, oils and architectural drawings!

This is the most accessible place to learn about the history of Sheffield, really nice cafe and park outside too. Highly recommend, especially with small children. Facilities maintained to a high standard.

Great museum with loads of local and social history of Sheffield. A great place to visit if you are visiting Sheffield or want to get to know it better. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The parks around it are also great to walk around and explore!
Really worth exploring this museum as it is not massive but rich in its stories and is well laid out.

Although not too big, it houses many interesting exhibitions with some interactive components too. There's a wee cafe in the museum which is a nice little addition if you need to freshen up before going for a walk in the surrounding park.

Though the museum is not very big, it houses many collections related to Sheffield. The Weston Park is particularly beautiful and peaceful. An enjoyable visit.
