When I was younger it was my mum who inspired the baker in me. She would always find the time between work and children to bake amazing desserts, cakes and puddings for me, my brothers and sister, as well as birthday cakes in the shapes of our favourite toys which, when we were young children, left us awestruck.
Wedding cake consultations are not running at the moment, but you can still order some flavour samples in the form of cupcakes, to collect and enjoy in the comfort of your own home. We can then discuss all the details of your wedding over the phone or over email. You can browse the flavours gallery, and contact Gem to order some samples.
Little Gem's has a beautiful array of mismatched vintage china that will complement your party or wedding. As well as making bespoke vegan cakes, we have a passion for vintage crockery! Hiring a selection of vintage china from Little Gem's is the perfect addition to your dessert table, special celebration or wedding cake, with dainty silver cake knives and forks to accompany your china set.
Below is a guide starting price and a portion guide. Prices vary depending on the size and design specifications of your cake, an accurate price quote for bespoke design cakes will be given upon request. Please contact Gem to get a price quote for a bespoke design. Cupcakes start from 2.50 each for a basic frosting swirl decoration with a minimum order of 6 cupcakes per flavour, and price increases depending on cupcake flavour and design.
Little Gem's offers a delivery service, and will personally deliver your bespoke cake to anywhere in Bristol to ensure it arrives safe. There is a charge for delivery (depending on location), or alternatively you can collect your cake for free from Shirehampton. A 20 deposit is required to secure your day, then the remaining payment is to be made by bank transfer before the collection/delivery date.

Amazing wedding cake! I had my wedding in the beginning of October 2021, and the cake was perfect! It was exactly how I wanted it to look, and it tasted absolutely beautiful, we had the vanilla chai, carrot cake and raspberry white chocolate! I had some very, very happy vegan guests who couldn’t believe they could enjoy the cake and a lot of other guests who couldn’t believe it was vegan! Gemma is amazing, so helpful with replying to any questions I had! I would highly recommend her to make your wedding cake! Thank you so much!!

Gemma was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I was struggling to find a vegan wedding cake and I came across her website. We arranged a cake tasting at her house and we were blown away with the variety and most importantly the taste! Everyone at the wedding couldn't believe it was Vegan and many said it was the best cake they had ever had. I highly recommend Gemma for anyone looking for an incredible tasting cake.

Little Gem's met all our families needs with our fantastic (and totally yummy) gluten free cake, along with macarons, mini meringue kisses, little heart biscuits with our names and our wedding date on and vegan cup cakes. The cake was so beautiful, decorated in pinks with a ganache drip and stunning hand made peonies, cutting into felt so wrong! It was everything we'd hoped for and more, just perfect. J&A Ward.

Little Gem supplies Royce Rolls Cafe with a delicious selection of cakes, with many vegan & no gluten options. My favourite is the dark chocolate and ginger flapjack, but the customers love the red velvet cake and salted espresso tart. To be honest every one of Gem's cakes is a winner, I'm only sad we can't stock them all! We will be trying the new summer menu soon too. Gem is a pleasure to do business with.
