Our Approach to childcare is simple, to provide a loving, nurturing, safe environment filled with warmth and promise where individual's talents are encouraged to flourish and grow. So while your children are laughing, playing and having fun they are also learning by using their physical, social, emotional, communication and intellectual skills.
Services
During the lockdowns we stayed open to support our Key Workers - Our allocation of spaces is now back to normal. Meadows is an Ofsted "Outstanding" Children's Day Nursery set in 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens, between Cheltenham and Gloucester. Nestled in the quiet countryside close to Churchdown and Brockworth.
We're pleased to announce that Meadows Day Nursery has received Ofsted Outstanding status for the third time running. Ofsted is the Government body that assesses the performance of day nurseries across the UK. They have a team of inspectors who visit all nursery schools every two to four years.

In the case of nursery schools, inspections are unannounced, which means we must keep up our childcare standards all the time to be sure of maintaining our status.Inspections are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which sets the standards for learning, development and care of children from birth to five years old.
Our home-cooked, varied diet provides a firm foundation for exemplary child care. Freshly cooked on the premises by our chef, a nutritionally balanced, varied diet contributing to the children's "5-a-day" fruit and vegetables is important to us. We provide fresh baby food, morning snacks, lunch and afternoon tea along with milk breaks, drinks and fruit.
It has meant so much knowing they are being looked after so well and that they have been so happy. Thank you all very much for looking after me and for all the fun we've had together while I have been at Meadows. Thank you for hiding my vegetables in my lunch, so that I could be a good boy and eat them.
Lots of fresh air in 1.5 acres of secure gardens, nestling in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside. Fully trained staff and lovely, home-cooked food from our dedicated chefs in Food Hygiene 5 rated kitchens. And, with our third-in-a-row Ofsted Outstanding rating (check it here), you can be sure the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) care your child receives will be second to none.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. The staff are excellent. The nursery provided a invaluable service to keyworkers when my daughter's previous nursery had closed without notice due to Covid and I was left without any childcare. The setting is beautiful, huge stunning garden. The staff really were so welcoming and professional. The children have structure, learning and fun! My daughter loved her time here and all the children seemed happy. 5 stars. Thank you!
