Services
The farm has a rich history and is one of the oldest buildings in Ludham (eighteenth century for the most part, if not earlier): one of the bricks is dated 1758. It has seen many changes over the years. Limes Farm Cottage was probably an add-on but still early Georgian. The Conservation Officer told us that the main beams in the house were probably from an old ship and can be seen in the sitting rooms and upstairs bedrooms.
Included for your stay is a welcome pack containing homemade fresh bread, a box of our own chickens' free range eggs, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a bottle of local Norfolk apple juice. All bedlinen and towels (except beach towels) are provided, along with eco hand soap, toilet rolls and shower and bath gel.
This is a general statement regarding the accessibility of our accommodation and if you have any specific requirements or queries please do contact us, by phone (01692 678422) or email bookings@limesfarmholidays.co.uk. We have worked hard to set up eco friendly holiday accommodation and ensure our impact on the local environment is beneficial. We have been awarded the Green Tourism Gold Award for our efforts and are proud to offer sustainable holiday accommodation within the Norfolk Broads.
We have installed woodburners in the cottage, which are carbon neutral, and the property is warmed by a ground source heat pump, using the natural heat from underground (we took the opportunity to install the mass of pipework needed under the gardens during our building work). Our electricity is fed by solar PV panels and the cottage utilises low energy appliances wherever possible.

Our self catering cottage is perfect for family holidays. If you would like to take your family for an active outdoors holiday in the Norfolk Broads, Limes Farm Cottage makes an ideal base. Our East Coast beaches are second to none and we have some amazing local beaches with 'Blue Flag' status - including Sea Palling, Mundesley, Cromer and East and West Runton.

Spent 4 nights here after winning a Broads National Park Experience competition. My wife and I loved the cottage and the whole experience of staying there. The owners seems to have thought of everything and every room, drawer or cupboard contained things to make your stay that bit easier. Not somewhere we could afford ordinarily so very grateful for the opportunity to stay there and will definitely be visiting Norfolk again.

Spent an idyllic 10 days here, staying in the Farmhouse. It's a wonderful location with all the pleasures of the Broads within easy reach, great walking and boating nearby, and the Farmhouse is lovely. Everything you could need to be comfortable, a warm welcome from owners, and easy to settle in immediately. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in these amazing cottages three times since discovering them a few years ago. The location is perfect for exploring all the wonderful things the broads have to offer but also offers a great place for rest and relaxation. We especially love the eco friendly approach and the attention to detail that offers all a home from home could need. Everything from the welcome basket to the little touches such as the very large folder of potential days out or places to visit/eat, books, games and dvds helps make this one of our very favourite places to visit and we recommend to everyone we know
