Small Wonders prides itself in providing a diverse range of strengths and qualities within our team enabling us to meet your child's individual needs. We identify and balance the qualifications, skills and experience of our staff throughout the nursery to enhance the overall care of your child. We promote continual professional development by providing access to available training and higher education.

We build on the strengths and interests of our staff to develop their learning and skills. We have a structured framework which supports all of our team, from Nursery Assistants embarking on their chosen career, through to Senior Management.
Services
We are a fully inclusive setting able to meet the needs of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). Our trained and experienced SENCO is Christine Deeks. Parking is available on the forecourt directly outside the nursery. Prior to starting, you and your child will be invited to settling in sessions where you can share information about your child and discuss any of your concerns.
Children are welcomed into their individual rooms within the Nursery which are set up with a range of activities for the start of the day. Breakfast is served during this time as and when children arrive. Opportunities for play, exploration and discovery both indoors or in our range of outside play areas continues throughout the morning, stopping briefly for a morning snack and refreshment to refuel until lunchtime.
Smiles provides the children with stimulating sensory experiences and activities that they can select themselves. The babies have daily access to the garden or local community in the 6 seat turtle buses. Babies have lots of floor space for learning to roll, crawl and walk while exploring the range of fun activities provided throughout the day.
To all the staff at Small Wonders, who have looked after me for the last 4 years, thankyou so much! I have enjoyed being at nursery with you and I will miss you all very much. Thanks again for making my time with you so much fun and contributing to developing me into the happy confident little boy I am now.
Successful cooperation between parents and practitioners is important because it also has an effect on your child's development. This is why we encourage a culture of cooperation and continuous exchange between parent and practitioners. As the primary educators of your children the information that you share is vital for us to gain a complete picture of your child's learning and development.

This nursery is amazing, my 4 year old son leaves this summer for school and we are very sad. He started during the hard times of covid and the nursery has made the whole family feel so welcomed in such a hard time.
My son settled so well and the staff are so caring and go out of their well to make sure he is happy. He has made great friends for life. The nursery offers a good healthy variety of food and lots of activities. The preschool room has its own garden with different activities. He has learnt so much in such a short period. I can't wait to put my new born in here and know how safe and
