I am a level 4 qualified childcare professional, a mother to three adult children and grandmother to four grandchildren. I have over 20 years experience of working with children and running childcare businesses.
We offer a home from home environment with home cooked meals, highly qualified caring staff and a personal yet professional approach. Services
All staff employed by Little Faces Childcare are qualified in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and autism awareness. Jane is the company director for Little Faces Childcare, which was originally opened in 2013. Jane has been running childcare provisions since the 1990's. Jane has a Level 4 in childcare.
Little Faces Childcare offers a home from home environment with home cooked meals, highly qualified caring practitioners and a personal yet professional approach. In addition to offering first class, high quality childcare in our fully equipped child friendly facilities, we strive to go above and beyond offering additional activities for our children from phonics learning, Spanish education with Kidslingo, baking, animal encounters and more.

My eldest has just had his last day at Little Faces and I just wanted to thank and recommend, every person here! This nursery has been amazing from the moment we dropped him off into babies, up until today, ready for school. They consistently go above and beyond in every single thing they do - the parties, the learning, the projects, the games, the adventures and most importantly, the love and support offered to the children. Our daughter has attended this wonderful nursery for the past two and a half years. She absolutely loves it - from the staff, the children, the phonics sessions with Vicky, the reptile sessions with Faik and Jo Jingles with Stella. As parents we have always found the nursery staff accommodating and responsive with any questions. I would have no hesitation recommending this place and we are looking forward to our second daughter starting in the future.

I am so happy that I chose this nursery for my little boy. He started when he was 9 months old and they transitioned him into the baby room so smoothly. He felt comfortable there straight away so that made me feel comfortable. He has been looked after by the most amazing ladies, and he talks about Sophie and Rachel all the time even though he is not in their rooms any more. We particularly loved the toddler room where he went in every day so excited and always knew what he would be doing before he got there. The absolute best thing about Little Faces for me is Daniella the SenCo, who has been amazing

Both my children have been to Little Faces and we couldn’t be happier with how they have been cared for. The staff are extremely caring, and take real interest in what the children do, both inside and outside the care setting. They have a strong focus on development, but also ensuring the children and happy and well rounded. The holistic approach has been excellent in preparing both our children for primary school.
The management team have been exemplary.
Meals are well balanced, with the odd treat for special occasions :).

My daughter is currently at little faces where her development has come on amazingly since starting, the staff are fantastic and so inviting that even when Darcies having a bad morning she spots a member of staff and goes running in.
The time and devotion the staff give to the children is something that made me choose this nursery, Darcie is due to start school in September, I’m hoping there will be a space for my other daughter to start in September when she turns 2 even tho that will mean travelling across town for a further 2 yrs I feel the benefits to my child are worth the journeys.

The ONLY reason my son no longer goes to Little Faces, is because we moved home and the distance is now too far for me to travel. I have 3 children and have used many nurseries in Chelmsford over the years - Little Faces has hand on heart, genuinely been the best setting I ever have,and ever will have put any of my children in. We miss all of the staff dearly and it will be a nursery we never forget for all of the right reasons.

Both my children have now happily attended little faces 7 years apart! Such a fantastic, friendly and safe nursery. I have always felt that they truly care for my children. On a few occasions one of my boys was unwell and they sat cuddling him until I arrived!
During lockdown the nursery had to close to all children other than keyworkers. The children were sent little gifts and provided with videos and zoom classes which my son loved.
My second child has additional needs and the Senco/nursery staff have gone out of their way to learn BSL and have provided him with an environment to feel included

Being a mum with a child of multiple allergies, little faces nursery give me complete peace of mind, and 100% capable of dealing with a child with extra needs. They are on it 👌!! Little faces nursery is a great start in life for a little 1, and my son has come on leaps & bounds. He adores his teachers and friends. Thank you little faces your so amazing. xx

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was six months old. Unfortunately she will be heading off to school in September and we feel like we will be leaving behind a part of our family. The staff are kind, caring and professional. They have done an outstanding job during Covid-19, maintaining an incredibly high standard of care and creating a happy and positive environment for our children during an incredibly challenging period of time. They will always be part of our family.

Little faces childcare nursery is the best! My daughter attended for a couple of years and absolutely loved it and all the staff. They always go over and above of what you would expect and have so many special little touches they do. We all grew very attached to the attached to the staff and miss going there. If you are debating where to send your little one I would highly recommend little faces over and over again.

My son went to Little Faces from 18 months to 4, when he started school & he loved it there! We have been continually overwhelmed by the thoughtful activities they do both for & with the children! His school have also commented on the excellent foundation they gave him to starting reception with their activities & phonics classes.
My daughter started a few months ago at 1 year & loves it too & the staff are always quick to welcome my son when he comes to drop off or pick up my daughter! He still talks about the staff so fondly... especially "Linda's yummy food"!!!

I've been teaching Spanish to Preschool children since January 2018 and I've always been impressed about the excellent level of care that children receive in this beautiful setting. Smiles are present from the time I enter to the time I leave, and there is a real homely feeling. As a mum myself, I understand how these are very important things to consider when choosing a nursery and I would recommend Little Faces to family and friends.

Lovely, lovely nursery. Couldn’t ask for better people to look after my little girl. Little Faces is like a proper family. I’ve never once felt worried leaving Clara there as everyone is so kind and caring. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Jade (her key worker) without a smile on her face. As a teacher who is now also running phonics sessions in the Pre-School room at Little Faces, I just wanted to express how impressed I was with the children of that age. They are so independent, engaged and good at listening. Little Faces is fantastic at getting them ‘School ready&rsquo
