Services
Founded in 1988, we have over 30 years' experience in care, education and preparing children for school. This history has enabled us to invest in our team, resources, and environment to give your child the best possible start. Our fantastic team of Educators and Teachers have achieved outstanding Ofsted judgements at all ten of our nursery schools.
Basildon Hospital Nursery serves NHS employees as well as the wider local community. We are a small, purpose-built nursery in a quiet and leafy area of the hospital grounds. The nursery operates from three home base rooms which are tailored to give the children the very best opportunities to learn and develop in a stimulating environment.
Ford Dunton Day Nursery School in Laindon was built in partnership with the Ford Motor Company. The modern purpose-built nursery operates from the Dunton Technical Centre and cares exclusively for the children of the Ford employees on site. The nursery offers full day care and education for children aged 3 months to five years from 4 home base rooms.
Broomfield Hospital nursery is situated within the grounds of Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and serves NHS employees as well as the local community. We have 5 home base rooms all with access to a spacious and leafy garden. Children thrive and develop under the warm and affectionate care of the qualified and experienced adults looking after them.
The Broomfield Road Nursery is set within a quarter of an acre in the heart of Chelmsford. The large Victorian villa has 4 home base rooms, providing a calm and nurturing environment for our youngest children. A large modern extension offers a more school like environment for our pre-school children to help them prepare for the transition.

Today was the last day of a beautiful relationship with the wonderful Seymour House nursery at Basildon Hospital. When we chose them for our daughter way back in 2012 we knew they were an Ofsted Outstanding nursery and over the last seven years they have been instrumental in guiding and supporting both her and then her little brother into the… confident, kind and balanced little beings they are. When my little boy started I was so nervous about leaving him but the girls that work there are so caring and considerate and keep you up to date with everything via the parent zone app. As he progressed through the rooms each transition was handled with the greatest care so the upset was minimal. Each key worker he has had have been kind, caring… and thoughtful to his needs and they encouraged him to do his best. Knowing he was happy, safe and cared for meant that I could get on with my job without the distraction of worrying if he was ok. Management have always been very helpful and friendly

We couldn’t be happier with Seymour House (Springfield Road). We moved our daughters here in Sept 18 and the staff have been nothing but accommodating and welcoming. My eldest was writing her name within 2 weeks of being there, where previously she would just scribble. I get daily updates & photos of what they do and any achievements noted etc.… They are set up to enable the children to gain independence and confidence and the transition to school this year is going to be so much easier due to the steps they take to prepare them. My youngest runs in everyday and doesn’t look

Would Not recommend Seymour house, Springfield nursery, Springfield road chelmsford. daughter made an enquiry about place for grandson 15 hours funded, 5 hrs per day over 3 days. No prospectus given or access to terms and conditions, make application, still no prospectus nor told told to read very small print terms and conditions. daughter… believes she is getting 3 days doing 5hrs per day. e-mail arrives requesting 510.00 deposit to secure place for grandson, pay it as daughter likes fact have outstanding ofsted report. DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE. Grandson goes for induction session when
