Ashton Care Homes
Whether you are looking for a nursing home in Crawley West Sussex or a Burgess Hill & Brighton nursing home, your search ends here! Located in the lush, green countryside, Ashton House is the breath of fresh air that you have been looking for. Set amidst the picturesque landscape of Haywards Heath, we are just short walk away from the bustling shops, cafes, banks, railway station, and other facilities in the heart of Haywards Heath.

We provide both residential and nursing care to elderly people in a warm and friendly environment. We specialize in palliative care for multiple co-morbidity including end stage cancer patients. We are also proud to be the first care home in West Sussex to have rolled out the Namaste care program for residents with advanced dementia.
Services
We understand your need for care and comfort, and we strive to make you feel at home. We provide fully furnished rooms, which can be personalized to suit your taste. Also, our lounges and activity centres have a whiff of positivity. Whether it is a wintery evening or a sparkling summer day, you can sit back and relax in the garden.
Bincy Mathew - Registered Manager in the Hazelwood Wing for residents with medium to severe dementia. In addition the Nurse managers are supported on the floor by a team of nurses and care staff. Ashton House has at least 4 nurses on the floor 8am to 8pm and 3 nurses in the night time.

A typical shift would be covered by three trained nurses and around 20 care assistants, complimented by ancillary staff including chefs, activity organisers, housekeeping, maintenance and administrative staff. The home is fully committed to staff learning and development. There are some staff working towards their QCF qualifications and there are various monthly training courses available for staff development.
Ashton House is registered for both residential and nursing care which includes a separate unit for residents who are elderly frail and mentally infirm. We also offer a day care service. Our residents are generally over sixty years of age, however, we do accept younger residents if we can meet their nursing and care needs.
We employ a team dedicated to ensuring that all of our residents are able, should they wish, to participate in a wide range of enjoyable and stimulating activities. Some activities are undertaken in groups whilst some residents prefer a one to one session. The home has its own disability vehicle allowing residents that wish to get out as much as possible weather permitting on excursions.
I can see and feel the changes which Ashton House is implementing, there is always something new going on. I can see that Ashton House is going in a direction towards improvement day by day. The home is well led and doing good, I am more on my feet now since I came to Ashton House. I always look forward to the Men's choir which the fantastic activity staff have organised every week.

What ever you do, DONT place your loved one here. The management don't give two hoots about the care they give and god forbid you stand up to them because they kick your loved one out. Utterly shameful.

Ashton House Residential and Nursing Home is a beautiful purpose built nursing and residential home set in the heart of Crawley. We looked at several homes but felt this one had good sized rooms with good en-suite facilities. The staff are always caring, helpful and welcoming. The food is to a very good standard.

Finding somewhere where we felt Dad would feel safe and comfortable and be treated with respect was both a challenge and stressful experience. We consider ourselves fortunate to have been recommended to Ashton House Residential and Nursing Home who exceeded our expectation in looking after Dad in all aspects of care.
